We went to the Island during the day and stayed her afterwards. Yes its an older motel but it served our needs just fine. Yes it had an older TV and could have used a couple of more power outlets but I always travel with an extension cord. They had obviously added on to the bathrooms as they were rather...

I stayed here on my way to Marquette. Very nice owners. The rooms are warm, comfy and comfortable. They are clean and more than enough channels to surf on the TV. A very affordable Motel and good owners make for a worth while stay. I highly recommend this motel if you come through st Ignace. Thumbs up to The Cedars...

My husband and I were pleasantly surprised with this little motel. The room was clean and comfortable and included a coffeemaker and small frig. The motel was full (there are only 11 rooms) the night we were there but it was quiet. The continental breakfast was adequate for us. The owners were very friendly and helpful. We definitely will be...

First off, the price is right for this place. Where can you stay for $59 a night with b-fast included? The people who run this place are friendly and kind but I would not stay here again because the room was so cramped with an uncomfortable bed. We got what we paid for.

Small rooms, single queen bed, tiny bathroom, showing age, but very clean, good bed, all amenities w refrigerator, microwave, coffeemaker. Great bargain. And very close to I75. Will use again for sure.

Come every august for the bikes over the bridge. Run by a very nice couple. Gives everything a personal feel. Not just a room. Campfire every night with good conversations. Rooms beyond clean. Shower hotter then hot with great pressure. Spent a week and will be back next year.

we have been to Mackinaw city many times. This time we decided to stay in the U.P., Looked all over for an inexpensive, but nice place to stay. Due to the reviews on Trip advisor, we decided on the Cedars. Boy are we glad we did! The owners are wonderful, the room we had was clean and just right for...

This is such a great local place to stay in the area. Very basic yet comfortable rooms. Perfect for a place to stay in the area. The owners were very great and made us feel very welcome. It was fun to chat with them in the mornings while eating breakfast. The campfire is a nice option to get a chance...

“Just follow your instincts. If the room is nice and clean and the people running the motel are friendly. That is a plus in my book. And they just aren't out there for the almighty dollar and they do care about their guest. That's what I look for.”
