Wonderful King room with lots of space and a fantastic view of the river and across to Canada. Beds are comfortable, good continental breakfast and knowledgeable staff who can advise restaurants and shopping in the area. Close to Marine City so you can cross on the ferry.

If a quick romantic getaway is what you're looking for, then this is the place. The wife and I booked this for a Mother's Day weekend. The hotel was wonderful. Great rooms, nicely appointed with modern decor and very comfortable beds. The view of the St. Clair river from our balcony was spectacular. Ate at the attached restaurant, The River...

It was wonderful to be able to walk to our room after a wonderful event at the River Crab. I highly recommend both the hotel and the restaurant. The River Crab is a very special restaurant and the hotel has everything you need (including a wonderful staff). The breakfast wasn't much - but I think that may be - because...

The room had all necessary and expected amenities; the staff was friendly; the view was unbeatable. The continental breakfast was nothing to write home about. so I won't. The restaurant next door was excellent. The price was fair.

After having a fantastic dinner at the River Crab, it is always nice to walk over to the Bluewater inn and relax. The rooms have been all renovated and are huge. A great place for the weekend or a getaway.

We stayed in a nice, updated room, though the bathroom could have been a bit cleaner. There is just no comparison to the view. Watching the newest naval ship, the US Detroit glide past on its way to be commissioned... priceless. It was 40 degrees at night, and my husband was on the balcony, taking videos. We'll be back.

This is our second stay here and will definitely not be our last. The rooms are huge and comfortable. The view is breathtaking and the staff are very helpful. It is close to shopping and restaurants and a great place to unwind.

The Blue Water Inn has been in St. Clair since I was just a little girl, but being from the area, I never had reason to stay there. Recently my husband and I took a nostalgic drive along the water, and we spent the night here. I have traveled all over the world, and stayed in all of the big...

My husband and I got to the room and opened the door and immediately noticed a musty smell. As always, I checked the bed and room for cleanliness. Well, this room was filthy. The table tops were covered in dust, as well as the window sills. The pillow shams on the bed were visibly stained as some pictures in other...
