I was impressed with our little A-frame cottage mini-vacation. The cottage was cute and very clean. We enjoyed a perfect sunrise every morning. Had everything we needed in the cabin to enjoy our time away from home. The innkeepers are very personable and very accommodating.

The couple that own and run this place are so nice. Very peaceful and well kept. Was able to walk right to the water, sat at water and enjoyed a bonfire. Everything you need was provided. Can't wait to come back. It was my anniversary when we went my husband and I have decided to make this our annual place... More

The perfect place to get away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. The owner treated us as if he'd known us for years. Who can forget walking out of your cabin and being right on Lake Superior to start your day off right. Perfect for those looking for a true get away. Cabins are clean fully furnished and... More

Very welcoming, cozy, and secluded. If you want a sometime a away from the busyness of life this is where you need to be! The cabins are fully furnished, huge bonus! Right in Lake Superior so the view is stunning. My husband and I really enjoyed our stay there. We planned an Upper Peninsula vacation and this was perfect for... More

Stayed in a timber cottage with a fabulous view of Lake Superior. Lovely ambiance and well equipped. We mixed trips to local sites with rest & chill time. Hosts were most helpful. WiFi internet : we knew this would be basic only: it was fine to do email and messaging but downloading/streaming any video would be out - not that... More

We've been going to Cloud Nine since 1993. We have stayed there at least 30+ times.....NEVER a bad experience. Jim & Eve are the consummate hosts, attending to your every need. And the cabins.... we have stayed in them all, and they are all REMARKABLY clean, and the mattresses are top quality, not the usual cheap motel kind. The grounds... More

Amazing, romantic, rustic. This trip was the relaxation that was needed. Cabin was a bit musky, but we opened the windows and it cleared right out. You are in the UP, rustic and country is what your going to get. The owners are nice, the beach is beautiful and a bit warmer water due to the Tahquemenon river mouth being... More

$90/night well worth it. I'm not rustic by any stretch of the meaning, but I was quite comfortable here. The owners are so nice, I could have spent hours the first night visiting with them. They have 100's of VHS you can borrow and watch in your cottage if you wanted. #1 was clean and I never saw one bug... More
