We were extremely disappointed. This hotel is supposed to come with a spa but there are extra fees (20 euros per person) Rooms are different from the pictures, small, bad equipments but clean at least. The only good point was the team, very welcomed. We don't recommand and will not go back
Everything was ok for us, the quality of the restaurant is good, the Spa is nice, the breakfirst has good quantity and quality. The waiters are sympatical Ifop you tant something they try to give you what you want.
This hotel is sited on an industrial area between 2 roads. The swimming pool is murky, you cannot see more than a foot down under the water. The food is mostly pre packaged and not good. The evening buffet offered dry rabbit and lumpy courgette gratin as the dishes cooked in house. Not a place to return to.
Parking on site was plentiful - maybe because there were not many staying..... Beds were quite large and reasonably comfy, but with no extra pillows etc. BUT - at the time of our stay the pool was dirty - smelt rank and was cloudy/poor visibility - it was unsanitary and we got out immediately. Bathrooms leaked water into the rooms - the second of the two rooms we had smelt really awful but by the time we got back from a meal out and realized, there was no one on reception (no staff on site at all in fact) to remedy with a room change. Bath towels were very small, grey and torn/worn out. No towels provided for the pool either, or offered when requested. Absolutely no extra facilities in the room - for the price paid I would’ve expected at least a hairdryer or, more importantly, a kettle with some tea or coffee. Leaving early(ish) - 7.15am - we couldn’t even get a hot drink as we left as the whole place was shut up. No breakfast would have been available at that time (Monday) even if we had paid extra for it. Searched for hotel as being in or near “Honfleur” but don’t be fooled - it’s a 20 minute car drive away from there...…
We had a large group that likely rented out the entire hotel. Had problems with hot water the entire 3 day stay. Would mostly be cool to warm, would vary back and forth during shower. Internet wifi was very poor at far end of building where our room was. Staff was attentive during groupeals we had there and food was decent for the size of group we were. Note that there is no air conditioning. Usually not needed in Normandy but in a heat wave it is critical. Liked being able to close metal shutters to keep room dark. Strange shower set up caused a lot of water on floor outside the shower, which was right at the entrance to the shower room. Suggest you bring your own soap to ensure you have enough.
