We stayed whilst on our way to a nearby wedding (it won't last) and the most striking thing is the house itself. It's rather grand and dates from the 19th century and has real character. We were placed in a large room for €115 which was indeed capacious with two pleasingly grand windows to let in the light. The bed...

We use the hotel restaurant of for lunch. On three previous occasions this year we were delighted with both the food and the service. Today, we had booked and received a welcome email. When we arrived it was obvious we were not expected. Laurent, (the boss) put a few tables together and departed. Eventually, we were able to obtain an...

My wife, my parents and I went for dinner at Saint Alban. It was a warm evening and all guests were eating in the garden space out front of the restaurant as the interior did not appear to be air conditioned. We sat down to dinner at 8.15pm but there was inadequate lighting in the garden which is also surrounded...

Our documentation said checkin at 4 and checkout at 11.30. What actually happened was that we arrived after 4 and were locked out until luckily a chef arrived for his shift. Eventually the owner turned up clad only in a towel. We had dinner which was far too overblown. It was a good thing we were early for breakfast as...

The hotel was a little tired but I feel this added to the charm of the place , it felt that the owners rented the hotel rather than actually owned it themselves otherwise they would have made a bit more of an effort with the place. The man was very pleasant and helpful his wife / partner was the absolute...

This place was hugely disappointing. There was no body there to meet us and had to wait over an hour for someone to turn up. the room was shabby and obviously cheaply furnished. the restaurant was closed and the man on reception knew zero about the area or alternative for dinner. The swimming pool are was mucky, unkempt and wholly...

My wife and I travel from the US every year to tour Europe for 5 months. Our base of operations is a refurbished 600 year old house here in the village. From here we have taken road trips to Spain, Portugal, Belgium, Bavaria, Austria, Switzerland, Italy, Monaco, and countless locations all over France. When we first arrived in town 6...

This hotel is under new ownership since Nov 2015. The owners are very friendly, the menu offers good choice and value. Lovely outside dining space for the warmer months. The hotel itself has great amenities including pool and tennis courts. Close to Pezenas, recommend.

Just came back from lunch. This hotel is under new ownership since Nov 2015. The owner is a really nice man, served a great lunch. The hotel has good amenities, nice grounds, did not see the rooms, but if the dining room, pool area, tennis courts are any indication, this place should be on your list.

The hotel has been under new management since 1 November and the owner, Laurens, is doing a great job. We have eaten here a couple of times and experienced great food and service. New Year's Eve dinner was excellent from the amuse bouche to dessert with local wine pairings. My only regret was not having my phone to take photos...
