Chateau Julie is a family run hotel, so the services are relatively simple but the confort and the setting is superb. What you need to know: - the building is beautiful - the staff friendly -free wifi - good breakfast -free parking - very near the motorway PS: if you like my review click OK!

We arrived after a long day of travel. We spent late afternoon sitting on the back patio area drinking wine from the chateau and simply relaxing. Seemed we had the whole place to ourselves. Unfortunately the restaurant was closed. We would echo the positive comments by others. The chateau is in a super location. Most of all it was quiet....

A very friendly and well run chateau. Simple large rooms and fabulous simple French food. Lovely Dutch couple make you feel very much at home. Tennis court was put to good use!! Lovely evening meal sat outside with a glass or Chateau Julie.

My wife and I stayed for one night on our way from St Malo to the Pyranees. The Chateau is a splendid venue. We had a beautiful room overlooking the gardens. We had an excellent meal cooked by Rinse and an excellent breakfast before we set off south. Rinse and his wife Renne are friendly hosts. The location of the...

We stayed here in July. The hotel itself is a beautiful building, set in large grounds. Our room was large, with a decent en suite but the furnishing were a little tired. The couple running the hotel are very friendly and accommodating. If you're looking for a quiet, countryside location, with grounds for children to run around, this would be...

We had a lovely big room and bathroom. The couple running things were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast and dinner were excellent, including the Chateau Julie wine. The grounds are pleasant and tidy, no more.

Have stayed here a couple of times as a very easy detour from the A10 enroute to and from France. Rinse and Renee are fabulous hosts who will do whatever they can to help and it is lovely to see ongoing changes to the facilities as time goes along. So pleased they now offer a restaurant service in the evenings,...

We read reviews online while travelling through the district of Bordeaux and decided to drop by. Luckily there were available rooms. We went for a homecooked meal accompanied by a good local wine,; great taste at a reasonable price. Big rooms with a view of the garden. A bit hot at night as there were no fan or air condition...

The really special thing about this hotel is the fantastic, personal service. The multilingual hosts will, unasked, do much more for you than expected. And if there's something missing, it won't be for long. We got a huge room with a fantastic view over the courtyard. Spotlessly clean. Good Wi-Fi. No shower curtain, but we like showing while reclining in...
