We were given an upgrade but that meant our room was on the Main Street. Be aware of funfair noise in July until midnight and motorbikes roaring up and down the street late at night. Emily was very friendly and helpful. I wouldn't really call this a B & B breakfast is extra.

Clarissa was delightful, friendly and helpful. After traveling over 24 hours, I needed to crash. After my pick up at the train station, she helped me settle into my "apartment" where I had a small kitchen and separate sitting room. It was comfortable and private. The breakfast at the hotel was excellent and the next day I was able to...

We absolutely loved our stay here. It is a beautiful town, with all the trimmings. Les does a great wine tour and a fantastic partnership host with Clarissa. We ate at the lovely restaurant, where the food and service were first class. They have niched the demand with what they offer and can see why it is rated so well....

We recently stayed in the apartments with a 3 and 5 year old while on holiday from NZ. Was a perfect location (Blaye is an easy place to be with young children) and Les and Clarissa were just amazing. The apartment was large, clean and child friendly and had all the amenities you could want while travelling. We utilised the...

En-route through France to Spain we happened upon Blaye and what an amazing delight it was. From the moment Clarissa opened the door of Villa St. Simon my partner and I were treated like returning friends. The entrance room, doubling as the breakfast room was full of beautiful antiques with a real home from home feel. Our room at the...

The charm of this B&B is only exceeded by the charm of its owners. We were there for a week and have told many friends about it. We are three well traveled couples and do not like to stay in hotels. We either rent a home, villa or B&B. This one is definitely at the top of our list. A...

The couple that ran the hotel were very helpful to us even though we were staying across the street at Chez Simon. Clarissa went out of her way to lend me an adapter for our electronic devices. She even went next door to find one after not locating one at the hotel. Clarissa led us on an inspection of the...

We visited Villa St Simon for a girls mini break based on a recommendation from a friend, and what a great recommendation it was! Blaye is quaint and authentic and after day 1 we had forgotten the stresses of city life and completely relaxed. Villa St Simon is unique and like stepping back in time which fit perfectly with unspoiled...

We made a last minute booking direct with the owners and although most of the rooms were already booked, including the one we had chosen from their website, we were very pleased with our room - a spacious and comfortable 'suite' on the third floor. If you don't like climbing stairs, there are some lovely rooms from which you can...

Spent two nights in Villa St Simon on the way back to England from Toulouse. We received a very warm welcome and found the room and bathroom matched the description, comfortable and clean. The breakfast was superb with lots of choice and yummy croissants. We had taken our bikes and were told where the cycle routes were and we spent...
