This hostal is perfect for a long or short stay. They are nice and close to La Olla Quemada for some salsa action but in a quiet neighbourhood so you can enjoy your sleep. Everyone that works in the hostal is super accomodating and my stay has been absolute bliss. Check it out if you want a good vibe.

Please learn from my lesson and avoid this hostel. Basically, it is impossible to find and none of the natives who live in Leon know where it is so they can't help you. Perhaps if you ride taxis it is better but we had our own rental car so we had to find it on our own. It took us over 2 hours to find the hostel. The place has a nice white guard dog that is friendly. The place is overall clean. The showers work. We were in a five person bed. Every single bed was like maybe a $20 mattress? No back support, squeaks, it's uncomfortable as humanly possible, and makes sleep very unpleasant. Breakfast only accommodate 2-4 people at a time so we had to wait 15 minutes for two guys ahead of us. That was OK. Breakfast was decent. Rice and beans, egg, toast, good ☕️ coffee. Kids got yogurt and an egg. Honestly, I think it's better to stay at a hostel that is on a bigger road and easier to find. This place just isn't worth trying out.

My wife and I have really enjoyed our stay here. The owner, Hilda, is a very friendly lady, as is her son. Crystal, the girl who works during the week is very nice as well, and she speaks a bit of English, so that is great for us. Great value here, nice breakfast included in the room price. The hostal has house pets too, which is an added bonus. A dog, a turtle, and a feisty little kitten are all fun to have around. The kitten really enjoys coming into our room to play with the curtains. He can often be found sleeping in a basket in the kitchen when he is not busy terrorizing the dog. Location is fine, we are about eight blocks from the Cathedral and busier part of the city. I would definitely recommend staying here for a few nights.

Best value and quality I've had in my month in Nicaragua .The staff are so nice . The rooms are clean , showers powerful ,are a good size with a comfortable mattress and TV with 4 English speaking channels . There's a seating area , pool table , computer and drinks for sale at local prices. Crystal the receptionist/manager speaks English and is a lovely person . I felt very comfortable here and would stay again and recommend

We were not too impressed with this hostel overall. The location isn't the best, the bathroom was filthy and we thought we were getting a private room, but were put in a dorm that didn't even have a door to the bathroom. From positive perspective the staff were really nice and the breakfast was tasty and included in the price. I suppose at the end of the day it comes down to the price and I think it's worth paying a bit more for something better.
