It's a quiet hostel close to the centre of Leon. There isn't anything particularly special about this place, it has a communal kitchen and bathroom. The rates are good at $14USD for two in a private room and $7USD for dorms. The staff is friendly and keeps the hostel clean. They offer volcano boarding at a good price $30USD including the entrance fee, a t-shirt, and local craft beer.

I can't tell yo anything about this place because I never saw it. I made a reservation a month earlier and got an email confirmation three days before our arrival. We had trouble finding it, but we were eventually led to the Nicarao hostel. The lady there told us the Nicarao II was closed and she had no vacancies at the Nicarao. At least she took us around the corner to the La Albergue hostel, which was very nice.
