AVOID THIS HOTEL! Like many hotels, a large container of water is provided in a common area. This is the kind of container that I've seen in many hotels for drinking water. It is placed in a conspicuous location. At the end of my stay I was feeling a bit ill. I discovered that the water in this container was...

Dear Sir We are very sorry if there were misunderstandings in relation to the container of water that was in the common area of the hotel. But this water was from a group of tourists who were in the hotel and it was not owned by the hotel. It also had a large paper which indicated that this water was...

1st time here. The staff and owner were very hospitable. The food was good but typical Leon service time. They have an excellent airy area for meetings. The beds were very comfortable. I enjoyed the openness! I will go back again one day

The hotel owner and all of the staff were great! They were all so friendly and willing to go out of their way to help us secure reservations, a taxi, or whatever else we needed. The hotel was always clean and your reservation included breakfast at the attached restaurant. The rooms were definitely adequate - air conditioning unit, private bathroom...

The location of the hotel is fabulous! Within very short walking distance to the square. The room was very spacious. The wifi was good. Hot water in shower... And clean! The hotel is immaculately clean! The aircon is still super noisy! I don't know how old the air conditioners must be 😊 they do their job but it's just too...

I'm thinking I stayed at a different hotel than some of the other reviewers... Yes the owner was friendly, and everyone was helpful. The location was good, not even a block from the city center. But we really thought it was a bit over-priced and depressing. The place was clean, the garden area was pretty, the room had a teeny...

Stayed 2 nights and as to expect under European owner, it's very clean, organized and friendly. Perfect location close to the center with guarded parking. Breakfast is the minimum but good. Meals other than breakfast the timeless service not up to Par even for Southern mentality and therefore I went out for dinner each day. Would recommend and will go...

I was here for 3 nights in January 2015. The staff is very nice and many of them speak good English. The rooms are very spacious with two beds and a nice size bathroom. There was a TV, Phone, in room safe, table and chairs, air con and free wifi. I thought the room was very nice, clean and comfortable....

Just spent one night in Leon before taking the amazing small ferry service between Potosi (Nicaragaua) and La Union ( El Salvador) to avoid a nasty road crossing - more on that in another report but it was a fabulous day and worth doing - operated and owned by Va Pues the tour operator I travelled with in Nicaragua. Our US based medical mission team travels to Leon twice a year. Our usual residence was undergoing renovations. Since a few of our members had stayed at Hotel Austria a few years previously, the proximity to the hospital (right next door) made it the ideal choice. We had a range of room sizes from single to "Junior Suite." In the...
