The price is great, the location is very convenient to everything in Leon, and the breakfast was amazing (pancakes and fruit or eggs and beans - we got both meals and both were delicious). The shared bathrooms and showers were quite clean, as were the rooms, especially since they were all "open" without being fully sealed off from the outdoors....

Cheap prices, english speaking owner, breakfeast includes, clean rooms. Really good hostel if you want to spent a couple nights in leon, we stayed there only one night but it was nice. The owner helped us set up volcano boarding for a good price compared with other tourists and he helped us to plan our next transport with a big...

I really enjoyed my stay here. I had a private room at the back of the hostal. I never had to wait for the shared bathrooms as there were plenty. At night it really was very quiet and I slept through the night the whole stay. The room was spacious and had a big doorway which I kept open for...

I stayed here for 3 nights over the holidays and it was a great choice for us. The location was great, a short walk to the city center (1 minute) and easy walk to restaurants, bars, clubs, etc. The staff was very helpful and friendly and helped make our stay comfortable. We stayed in a private room which had a...

We chose this hostal for the nice little garden and the included breakfast. The location is also very convenient. But the bathroom hasn't been cleaned for ages and has no proper windows (they are all the way up near the ceiling) so it's dark and lack fresh air. Without mosquito nets, you can't really refresh the room at night. After...

Plenty of locker space, large free breakfast, comfy beds, nice and helpful staff, basically a great hostel. The location is also great because it is literally a block away from the center of town. Stay here and you won't be sorry!

Pros: Can't beat the location. Staff helpful and accommodating. Great breakfast. Clean. Quiet. Cons: No airflow in the rooms - very hot but the portable fan they provided helped. Did not prevent me from sleeping. Cold showers. Wifi did not work in room.

This hostel was ideal for my visit to Leon. It's just a couple blocks from the main plaza, the rooms are very comfortable and clean (especially the privates!), and it has a much more relaxed atmosphere than the Leon party hostels. This was especially welcome for my girlfriend and I, who are a little older than the prototypical hostel-goer. The...

Colibri Hostal is very good located! You are close to the supermarket and the main square! I have mixed feelings for Colibri! On the one hand I liked the garden area very much! Clean, spacy enough, hammocks...and quiet! The guests were mostly kids, but seniors, too! So a big range of differents folks! The room was ok. On the other...

Positives - the staff were helpful and friendly, especially the guy who worked nights on the reception. He was excellent and sorted transport out for us when our taxi didn't show up. The price - it's reasonable. Negatives - the rooms aren't particularly nice but they do the job. The whole hostel feels a bit grubby and could do with...
