Very nice place to stay. The inside is pretty and the rooms are clean. The owners will try hard to make sure you get a good experience. The standard Nica breakfast was good. The only reason I'm not giving them a 5 is because the owners charged my friends 10$ for taking a shower after volcano boarding (a bit after...

My spouse and I spent three nights here and loved it. Our hosts were so warm and helpful--they truly went out of their way to make our stay comfortable and easy. They were very flexible and accommodating with laundry, breakfast, and everything. They also helped arrange a volcano hike with a really excellent guide, Jesus Arauz, who spoke great English...

I stayed there two nights over Nicaraguan mother's day weekend. It's a wonderful place to stay with helpful hosts and rooms with and without air-conditioning (AC ten dollars a night extra, but recommended for Leon if you're not used to the heat). Breakfast is the typical rice and beans, fruit, coffee, juice, tortilla or bread, and eggs, well prepared and...

We stayed there two nights. It is a nice convenient location within town. The food at breakfast is nice, simple, and available for a typical "U.S." fair or Nicaraguan fair. The owners are extremely friendly and open. The rooms are nice, simple, well-furnished. The garden in the center of the hotel offers nice sunlight and eases the atmosphere to make...

Stay here!! All the positive reviews match our experience in May 2015. Our time at Posada Fuente Castalia began and ended on the same high note. We did not have a hotel pre-booked when we arrived in Leon and simply arrived on the doorstep hoping for a vacancy. The owner (Pedro, with wife Maria) greeted me and was very gracious...

My girlfriend and I stayed for the first two nights of our Nicaraguan trip. Took a taxi directly from the airport in Managua. Leon was our favorite destination, and our stay at Posada Fuente Castallia allowed us to enjoy our time in the city. Pedro and Maria were very welcoming and helpful. We felt at home straight away. The rooms...

We had a delightful time staying at Posada Fuente Castalia. Maria was such a lovely hostess- giving us tips on places to visit, arranging for tour guides and dinners at other hotels. She made sure that our visit was absolutely perfecto!! She actually came out to help us flag down a taxi on a busy night, and arranged a decent...

Fuente Castália is everything you should expect from a B&B: good location, clean rooms, satisfactory breakfast and helping and nice owners. You feel like home there and they do try their best to offer a pleasant stay to their guests. Prices are fair. If I ever go back to León, I will try to stay with them again.
