We stayed here for 3 nights and were very satisfied. Nice quiet hostel with a nice back yard and communal area for hanging out. Located close to town. The owner was very nice to us, and we also enjoyed the breakfast served here.

We stayed here and it was lovely - dry season in Nic at the moment so it was a lush oasis - Araceli made a great breakfast and the bed comfy, fan worked and the shower was powerful - but best of all the place was spotless and the hammocks super cosy - Joel was helpful with learning Spanish and was also super helpful with tips on where to visit - we did lots of work on our laptops and the WiFi was great - we enjoyed it so much we extended our stay !! Would thoroughly recommend

That hostel is located not so close to the most touristic steet with Via Via or Big Foot hostel. When you’re solo traveler and female don’t choose that place - but only for area. The staff is nice, you have kitchen and clean bed. Minus first hostel where they charge you for water

Me and my girlfriend stayed here for 4 nights in February. The hostal is located just two blocks from the north bus station (and the cheap local market) and no more than 4 blocks from the center so i'd give it a 10/10 for location. The other good things is that the big inner garden, hammocks and tables all around make it a perfect place if you want to relax. Its definitely not a party hostel but it can get quite busy some times as there is a 12-bed dorm on top of another 6-bed dorm. The beds are OK, lockers are pretty big, kitchen is alright, some of the staff could be more informed (more than once we were given wrong information) but all in all it was a good stay. The only negative thing is that the dorms were pretty warm even with the couple of fans on (especially in the 12-bed dorm). Nice option for those on a tight budget!

We spent three nights in a private room at El Jardín. The common areas were comfortable and welcoming; and the included breakfast was tasty. Staff were polite, but some didn’t speak much English which occasionally made it difficult to find out information. One of the male staff members did speak good English and he was absolutely fantastic to deal with! The private room was very basic and had limited ventilation, leading to mouldy walls and a dank smell in the room. We were thoroughly unimpressed that the room was not cleaned for our entire stay. Since toilet paper must be thrown in the trash and as it is a hot city I would expect the trash can to be emptied daily. We also made use of the laundry service, it was well priced, but while our clothes smelled clean they looked just as dirty as before being washed.
