A pretty decent hostel in central Suwon. It's not too difficult to find if you follow the directions in the Lonely Planet. If you don't have one, take a bus to Paldalmun, then walk along the main road north (five minutes) until you see a small 7-Eleven on the right side. There is a bakery exactly opposite on the left...

Four of us spent three nights in a four person dorm. Small, two sets of bunk beds, but perfect for getting a sleep and having a base to explore Suwon. Hostel staff were perfectly friendly. Plenty of amenities to use, such as hairdryers, straighteners, shower/beauty products, kitchen, fridge, freezer, sink, microwave, computer etc. Great location, right in the centre of...

The guest house was empty - think we were the only people staying there. The hostel is in a very central location close to the historic part of the city. The bathroom needs a good clean as it was very dusty and there was a lot of hair in the plug hole. Would still recommend the guest house.

Stayed at this guesthouse between 26 Sep all the till 3 Oct. The owner was really friendly and very helpful. He often check with us if we feel cold (Extra blankets will be given by himself) and will recommend places for us to visit. The room maybe small, but it was actually quite cozy for the three of us. It...

It was very close to Hwaseong Fortress and close to the main routes, so it was easy to get around to other things. The owner was friendly and helpful: when the taxi driver couldn't find the guesthouse, we called it and the owner came to meet us on the street. The rooms and (men's) washrooms were clean.

First and foremost the location was great. Being inside the walled area of Suwon was fantastic as most things worth seeing are withing walking distance and if you want to walk the around the wall it's by a great starting place. The hostel itself was fine. My friend and I were able to get a private though all it really...

We spent two night in this Guest House in order to visit Hwaseong Fortress and Palace, as well as the Folk Village in the surrounding region. The Guest House, held by friendly people, is very well located and easy to find (five stops on bus number 11 from Suwon Station. It's then a two-minutes walk from Paldalmun Gates: turn left...

I paid about 10 euros a night through hostelbookers and I think that was acceptable for the dorm room. It has an excellent location in the historic centre near the market and the fortress and many restaurants and shops near by. The dorm was clean and comfortable but the shared bathroom and toilet were very dirty. There was free wifi...

The location of the hostel is excellent: right in the heart of the historic centre of the city and near restaurants and shops. I booked a bed in a dormitory, and had the place to myself. I don't just mean the dormitory: I seemed to be the only guest staying in the hostel at the time, so had exclusive use...
