The real standout was the service and the food in the restaurant. But the rooms....oooh those rooms.....Everything is falling apart from the furniture to the bathroom. The bed linens had a nice pattern of holes and all kinds of spots.... They really need to refurbish the place because this is not acceptable.

Located in Siddharthnagar (previously known as Bhairahawa), this hotel is about 15 KM from the main attractions of Lumbini. The property is pretty good with ample space and spacious rooms. However, the service is a let down. The restaurant is bland and lacks ambience. The food is average. Although the waiters tried their best, lack of training was clearly evident....

The mattress might have been a bit softer .. but my oh my what an excellent diner and breakfast buffet . And guess what: once one of the travellers was a belgium cook who taught them how to make mayonaise. So...

While in Nepal with a short budget for travelling this is a good option if you have someone to share a room with. The hotel it is quite far from Lumbini best options but you can take a tuk tuk or a cab to go there.

One of the oldest hotels in Bhairahawa, (the closest city to Lord Buddha's birth place and city next to Indo - Nepal boarder) but without any doubt Nirvana is the Best hotel in Town. Food is divine and the pork chops in Hawaian style is a specialty here. Rooms are spacious, clean and tidy. Rooms are cleaned daily. Hotel has...

“If you have problems with stairs, then book a room on the ground floor, only 2 floors, so no lifts. Also, the aircond in the restaurant was a bit spotty when we were there, so maybe try to sit near the fans.”
