They are not honest and will give you one price to get you in but once you there the price suddenly increases. The rooms are small, not very clean and the mattress is only 2 - 3 inches thick. Basically it's like sleeping on the wooden bed!

My partner and I stayed at Buddha Bhoomi for two nights whilst we visited the temples of Lumbini. Lumbini itself is definitely worth the trip; starting early we managed to cycle round and see all of the temples and monasteries, the world peace pagoda and the birthplace of the Buddha in one long day. Once we'd done that there was... More

Cheap and nice,... First look was clean, but the days after I had many bites from bedbugs! From 2 bites I got scars, that's not very good. Anyway, it's cheap and you better bring a sleeping bag with you! Staff was ok, maybe a little bit ignorant, but I didn't expect more on this place.

This Guest House have Clean rooms, out of the crowd and near by everything... the prices are Honest and the staff is nice and helpful. Don't expect the Grand-Hotel, also because is a budget guest house, but comparing the Price, the location and what you get back, is some of the best compromise i have got in Lumbini.

Would like to first say that the staff and location were great. Right across from the Maya Devi and next to the bus station. Staff very friendly and helpful. I am afraid thats all the nice things I could say. Perhaps it was because I was there in the summer, i should have opted for a room with ac. Not... More

Clean and great location. Its near the bus station and you can walk to Maya Devi from the hotel. I specifically asked to be booked at a room not facing Maya Devi due to the afternoon sun. There is a restaurant in the Guest house with basic food. Must Try the Tibetan Bread. The front desk will be able to... More

I arrived in Lumbini from Pokhara without a hotel reservation and was directed to the Buddha Bhoomi Guest House by the ticket office at the bus station. Located only 100 meters from the entrance to the temple it was a real gem. The staff were very friendly & helpful and a twin room with bathroom & wi-fi was only Rs... More

I was originally supposed to stay at Hotel Ananda Inn, which was across the street from this hotel. I get there and meet the gentleman I booked the room with online via email. He tells me that he's full for the night but that there is a room available across the street. Without cellular access and much of a choice... More
