We stumbled across the cafe in the guest house during our last visit to Nepal two years ago and vowed to stay there on our return. So glad we did! Fantastic hosts, clean room, fab breakfast. Only downside was the very firm mattress! Would recommend to everyone and will definitely stay there when we return in 2019

The guesthouse is beautiful and the hosts are warm and welcoming. The courtyard and coffee shop provide a lovely space to enjoy the architecture. Breakfast was delicious and Bhaktapur was a great place to stay. Lots to see and loads of culture and history to enjoy.

We would recommend the peacock guest house to anyone. Such a relaxed ambience and friendly welcome. The rooms were beautifully clean comfortable and don't miss the breakfasts, coffee and home made cakes which were wonderful. The house itself was fascinating and in a perfect location to explore Bhaktapur. Looking forward to our next visit.

Very well facilitated while looking old and traditional. Absolutely a beautiful place to stay overnight to experience the historical Bhakatapur! The hostess is passionate and efficient too! Great breakfast!

The Peacock Guesthouse is a truly unique experience. The location was excellent and the rooms something special. Fortunately, this building escaped significant damage from the earthquake. The managers were very accommodating and pleasant. The breakfast which was included in our room rate was also excellent. The rooms were very well appointed and the most unique feature was the ELECTRIC BLANKETS...

Entering the beautiful wood carved building we knew we have booked something special. The Peacock Guest House is located inside the ancient city of Bhaktapur. Best location ever as it is located in the oldest of the squares in the city and the quietest one too. Very easy to get to the rest of the highlights of the city and...

In my opinion this is the best place to stay in Bhaktapur and one of my favorite places I stayed during my two month trip across Nepal, Bhutan & India. Great energy in this beautiful heritage building with very peaceful, minimalist decor. The staff was wonderful and great to chat with and the food & coffee in the cafe was...

My mother fractured her foot in Kathmandu before out visit to Bhaktapur. This made stairs and long distances extremely inconvenient for her. We booked the annex rooms (which were away from the main building and dining area) but were pleasantly surprised that we were given rooms in the main building instead to accommodate my mother. It was a free upgrade...
