What a great experience. My wife and i were on our honeymoon and looking for a nice place to relax and enjoy Namibia. Driving into the lodge was an experience in itself. Plenty of wildlife along the way and we spotted our first Rhino! The resort feels exclusive due to being on a private reserve and May was a great...

The lodge is close the Etosha (approx. 30 min. drive) and on the same venue as the Epacha Game Lodge. We were honestly happy to rather stay at Eagle, it is much more charming and closer to nature. The tents are nice, with a small splash-pool, and the balcony feels like an eagle's nest. We spent 2 nights and needed...

really different accommodation , had a spa attached but we only stayed one night so were not able to take advantage of it. The dining area was very atmospheric, open to the elements but really lovely. Rooms were amazing, with a bath on the verandah, nice shower, tea making facilities, hairdryer etc.. Staff were lovely but I did find he...

This place has a lot of potential but it still needs to be developed. It could be much better than what it is because it has nearly all what a guest has to request to an expensive camp like this. Let me explain: Very good location in a private game reserve, the tents are fine and comfortable, the food is...

Our stay at Eagle Lodge was a real treat. The lodge has very nice green gardens and a beautiful pool overlooking the private reserve. From the tent deck we saw giraffes and kudu in the bush! The tents are very comfortable. We were first a bit sceptic of staying in a tented lodge. But these are no ordinary tents! A...

Another uniquely designed lodge with lovely gardens and views. Very tranquil. Really good service . Good quality food but drinks were by far the most expensive of all the places we stayed in Namibia. One of the downsides is that this is a small size camp and, as a couple, we felt a bit overwhelmed by another small group. By...

This is the second tented lodge we stayed at from the Leading Lodges collection, previously we were very pleased at Suricate lodge in the Kalahari and again Eagle lodge didn't disappoint at all. These tents were even bigger then in the Kalahari and had a nice outside bathtub on the deck!! The staff was very friendly and at dinner you...

This was the first of the Leading Lodges of Africa properties that we stayed at during a 3 week trip to Namibia, it was a complete disappointment. It's ~70Km to the Etosha gate and you do that in an open game vehicle so you either freeze or get blasted by hot winds for over an hour. The tents and bathrooms...

As the Belgian media had given quite some attention to "Leading lodges of Africa" we went there with high expectations. The tents are fine. The restaurant and bar are open (no windows). When we stayed there in july it was windy en cold in the evening so we had dinner with our coats on. In the rainy season the rain...

We spend here two nights, the lodge has a lot of potential but at the moment it lacks atmosphere. Food is oke, but served in a rush. Tented rooms are very nice. It is a 40 minute drive to Etosha. Overall conclusion, nice lodge but for the same money you can spend your time in better places.
