Situated almost in the middle of Etosha, this lodge/camp is a natural choice for a stay during a trip through Etosha. The lodge/camp itself is pretty average, nothing overly fancy. The aircondition in me and my romm-mates room i think was almost falling out of the wall, it was noisy to a degree i have never heard before, and wobbling...

Halali is a smaller camp inside Etosha. The accomodation is in little bugalows with 2 rooms each. If you are no friend of the AC your are in for hot nights, as only one tiny window can be opended per room. But the beds are very comfortable and all fitted with mosquito nets. The food is served buffett style but...

Practical considerations for a trip from Windhoek to Etosha before sunset and onto Halali on the same day. If renting a car and self driving to Halali please make sure your flight gets in well before noon. If not, spend the damn day in Windhoek and leave the next morning! Here is why: Factor in the time of year and...

Sad to give such a review, but things have to change in Etosha! We stayed 2 nights, check in was easy. We had a double room which was ok and kind of clean. We planned to have our own bbq, but website of the resort said: no bbq area. Arriving there, you actually can have your own bbq but area...

We had the same bush chalet as last visit and everything was as we remembered. Two bedrooms so good for two couples. A kitchen with fridge, kettle and microwave. Everything was clean and tidy and the cleaning lady unobtrusive but thorough. There was even a patio seating area outside with BBQ fireplace so a great place for a quiet restful...

We stayed in one of the detached chalets. The main room furniture was not very clean and the whole place had a general air of shabbiness. There was 1 very weak bulb to illuminate this area and it burned out. There were a few dishes there and a few pieces of cutlery. The outside furniture was dirty. Breakfast was adequate....

We stayed for 2 nights. The place is basic, but has mostly everything you need. No WiFi, no TV but they have AC. The breakfast was included, but had to pay for lunch and dinner which got boring after the first day to eat the exact same thing again. We went on a morning game which was good saw some...

Halali is locate in Etosha, one of there lodges in the park and the one located in the middle (about 70km from either entrance). We had tried to stay at another one, but it was booked, so ended up here. The double rooms are starting to see wear. The bathrooms especially are not in good state, the back area is...

Lunch at Halali Resort in the Etosha Park will cost you N$420 for 2 people excl drinks. The choice of goulash and spare ribs for the main course is rather inconsiderate towards those not eating red meat or meat at all. As a Namibian this is expensive and perhaps displays 'take it or leave it' attitude as there is no...

Hi Everyone, Like everything else government controlled. It was expensive and run down. We stayed in one of the houses and it had all the amenities and stuff. Alot of it was broken and not usable at all. The bathrooms were clean at least but have seen better days. For a place that sleeps 4 people, there were only 3...
