We stayed at Dolomite mainly because it is convenient for driving around the Dolomite area of the park. The facility itself is amazing, with incredible views from a high vantage point over Etosha. Unfortunately, the service was average and the food quality was poor. We also had a very long wait for food and our dietary restrictions weren't accommodated. This...

On entering the Etosha National Park at Galton Gate, we drove through the game, until we reached Dolomite Camp. This reasonably new camp is situated amongst the boulders and offers great wildlife viewing opportunities. We parked in the parking lot at the base and were taken up shortly in a 4X4 with our luggage. The reception staff were very kind...

We were very lucky to have room 13 with the view of the water hole. Our travel agents - Desire Africa did a wonderful job at arranging our holiday to Namibia and managed to get us fantastic accommodation. NWR (govt is short) can do so much more to make your stay more pleasant. But having said that we enjoyed our...

This camp was much better than I had expected. The views from the room, restaurant and the pool were amazing. The room/tents are very picturesque and the shower offers views of the reserve below. The terrain is very steep so you are transported from your everywhere by a small golf buggy which does tend to be a bit noisy in...

First of all, NWR bookingsystem was below all kind of help. Take five days before answering requests, with no possibility of a dialog (response is YES available, or NO not available - don't try finding other dates, or wait another 5 days...). Dolomite area of Etosha has the attractive reputation or a restricted access one... True but not for the...

We stayed at Dolomite for two nights in June 2015. We entered the park from West side. It was obvious that wild life here are much less used to cars and people. We arrived to Dolomite around 14 o.clock. Just after we got out from our car, we were picked up by well mentioned 'golf car'. It was great to...

This camp is the probably the best of all of the lot in Etosha. Upon arrival we were carried to the reception by the golf cart and then swiftly to our room. Upon arrival its a bit confusing whether to wait at the parking or whether to drive upwards. I suggest a clear sign be placed there so guests know...

Food at dinner was better than expected apart from desserts, chocolate and caramel sauce! Service was quick, this has obviously been improved. Stayed in unit 10, long walk, but at least got some exercise on our visit to the park. All phones out of action, so get down to bar for 6pm, whilst still light or else stuck unless a...

After having stayed in Okakuejo (which is full of tourists), we travelled through etosha to the dolomite camp. The camp is beautiful. Great infinity pool. Lookout towards a (rather quiet) waterhole. Food is good and the staff is pretty friendly (other than in okakuejo). The location is spectacular: on a hill over viewing a large field (sunsets etc). Best place...

We stayed at Dolomite for two nights in April 2015 and found the camp as well as the environment starkly different from anywhere else in Etosha. Set upon one of the Dolomite outcrops in the region, the camp offers spectacular vistas of the surrounding wilderness. The semi-tented chalets are well equipped, extremely clean and comfortable. Numbers 1, 2, 19 and...
