This camp is the probably the best of all of the lot in Etosha. Upon arrival we were carried to the reception by the golf cart and then swiftly to our room. Upon arrival its a bit confusing whether to wait at the parking or whether to drive upwards. I suggest a clear sign be placed there so guests know...

Food at dinner was better than expected apart from desserts, chocolate and caramel sauce! Service was quick, this has obviously been improved. Stayed in unit 10, long walk, but at least got some exercise on our visit to the park. All phones out of action, so get down to bar for 6pm, whilst still light or else stuck unless a...

After having stayed in Okakuejo (which is full of tourists), we travelled through etosha to the dolomite camp. The camp is beautiful. Great infinity pool. Lookout towards a (rather quiet) waterhole. Food is good and the staff is pretty friendly (other than in okakuejo). The location is spectacular: on a hill over viewing a large field (sunsets etc). Best place...

We stayed at Dolomite for two nights in April 2015 and found the camp as well as the environment starkly different from anywhere else in Etosha. Set upon one of the Dolomite outcrops in the region, the camp offers spectacular vistas of the surrounding wilderness. The semi-tented chalets are well equipped, extremely clean and comfortable. Numbers 1, 2, 19 and...

Great location, built on a ridge with rooms stetted along its length and not fenced in - buggy transfer provided after dark. Wonderful view across the plain from the room and the bar and a nearby waterhole which was visible from the camp but only by walking a bit further than the paved track. Not to be done after dark!...

The views from our tented room were great, the golf buggy ride is a bit of a faff but it was relatively quick. Only stayed one night so can't really comment on the game viewing but the night sky was great.

We spent two nights here at the beginning of April, after having driven across from Okaukuejo Rest Camp where we spent a night. The Okaukuejo area had been very quiet animal wise with the camp waterhole completely bereft of animals (quite unlike our last visit in the middle of the dry season a few years previously). I didn't know what...

What I liked: - Magnificent view. You can spend your day looking for animals that will come along this beautiful plain down the hill. Bring your binoculars! The sun sets just in front of the swimming pool area. Amazing! - Staff was sympathetic in general. - Breakfast was good. They had a great fruit salad to offer... - Bedrooms are...

We visited in May 2015 and on arrival were greeted with a "no-entry" sign, and a massive hill to walk up. Apparently we were supposed to be greeted at the bottom by a buggy, but the staff just can't be bothered to do anything, leaving us to cart heavy bags up a really steep & long hill. On arrival at...

My parents and I really enjoyed our time at Dolomite. We stayed at the far end of the camp so a long walk was always necessary so make sure you have everything you need when heading to the communal area. The rooms were lovely and we had one on each side to experience sunrise and sunset. Although the rooms were...
