We really loved it here. We were very apprehensive as it was the only vacancy we could find in the area and the description of it made us think it wouldn't be any good. How wrong we were!!! Right from our arrival through to our departure everything was wonderful. We were greeted with a drink and cold towels. Our cottage...

Onguma is located right outside the east gate of Etosha national park. We stayed at the bush camp. Rooms are quite small, have thatched roofs, and provide air conditioning. The bathroom shower had a clogged drain and backed up creating a foot bath. Dinner was a set menu. Appetizer: spring roll, entree: hake fish, dessert: chocolate mousse. We visited the...

We had a bad time here and warn others. The camp is in a beautiful location but...they tried to charge us even for drinking water. We paid for a night safari and we purchased a bowl in their shop. They tried to charge us a second time. On arrival they had failed to turn on the air conditioning and the...

Simply Onguma has the best restaurant in the Etosha National Park. Also the camping site is really well organized that campers have their own area which separate them from the other campers, but it also allows a certain interaction if wanted. It's simply my favorite spot there, easy to reach the Etosha gate also!

The camp was strikingly pretty, situated in the wilderness. We heard hyenas all night long and saw a leopard drag a kudu into the thickets from just outside our tent. The accommodation and food were top notch. The manager, Marishka took extremely good care of us. We were gifted a complementary bottle of wine on our first night here(considering it...

If I were to go to Etosha again, I would drive directly from Windhoek to Onguma camp and stay here the night before entering. The great thing about this camp is that the gates don't close, unlike Etosha. The campsites are delightful - they have a beautiful en-suite bathroom and the sites are powered. The on-site maintenance man even helped...

This is a very nice camp just on the outskirt of Etosha. Takes about 10 min to enter Etosha. The restaurant is excellent and has a splendid view over a whaterhole. Make sure you do one of the games drives in Ongume. Very nice service at reception and restaurant.

The rooms are great and clean, they even have mosquito nets. There is swimming pool with deck chairs to relax. The staff are very friendly and helpful. There is a all day bar and free tea/coffee and cake in the afternoon. There is a waterhole right next to the lodge were animals come to drink at night and some even...
