We stayed here after a night of staying at the Dunes Waterfront nearby and wanted something a bit less expensive. We asked for the cheapest room. It faced the LOUD go carts, but it didn't bother us. We were either gone or in the room so we didn't hear them unless we were outside sitting on the chairs. The water...

Friendly and just over all "Great People" I am going back again this year for two weeks and happy staying in the cottage.. Spent 2 nights in two different rooms. Motel is of an older design but both rooms had been updated recently. It is located in the center of downtown and walking distance of just about anything. They have an area on silver lake to do activities by the lake it's not a great swimming area but it's nice. The pool is...

Good location walking distance to amost everything you need. Super small rooms and are very old with minor issues cracks in out shower. At one point our room smelled like sullfer but it went away.Private beach area and pool. Waterfront views are pretty. Do able for $124 a night in August when ur outside most of the time anyway.

we have rooms/units of all sizes, based on the rate referenced, this sounds like one of our smallest units... we are always updating and improving our lodging options and appreciate feedback that helps us prioritize those units needing more attention.

I stayed in the Beach House Inn, while my son's family stayed in the motel/suites portion of Silver Sands. Everything was clean and seemingly well maintained, for an older property. Very close to Silver Lake (3 minute walk or less, depending on if you go solo or with grandkids in tow), and two private beaches for guests. However, the SAND...

We stayed in one of the cottages (#6). The location was very central to the activities in town. That's where the highlights for this place ends. There is "beach access", but it's just sand, no swimming area...it's a private sand box, basically. Good luck toting your stuff and small children up the dunes at the State Park, which is what...

I read the reviews prior to my first ever visit to Michigan so I was aware of some of the issues others wrote. I was overly pleased with the accommodations. It was a very clean, friendly, safe resort. The others staying around us were pleasant and fun. The owners were helpful each time I called prior to our arrival as...

This is a nice place for a family to stay especially when considering there just aren't a lot of places in Silver Lake. Nice outdoor pool. Office staff very nice. Room is a bit dated - shower is definitely made for shorter people :) Right in the middle of activities in Silver Lake. wifi did not work in our room.

If you like giant hairballs in your bedroom, a sewer that over flows and stinks, pot smoke bellowing out of other hotel rooms and a drunk owner that swears at your kid blows cigar smoke in your face and insults your guest then this is it. Worst Fourth of July experience ever . Very over priced but a beautiful resort...

on this date we have only 1 incedent report which outlines several calls from staff and other guests complaining about too many people, unregistered vehicles, unregistered visitors, pets on the property, all of which violate resort polocies, and repeatedly lead back to the same customer. All guests agree to follow resort policies at check-in for the benefit and respect of...

If you are offering WiFi, it should be available in room. Television service would go in and out on our 19" box television. We had to ask for rugs for bathroom and front entry. Ceiling lights burnt out in bedroom. There wasn't enough hot water for 2 showers back to back. You shouldn't be charging this much for a hotel/cabin...

this guest was not specific regarding his lodging at the resort, however based on the comment regarding the TV this guest sounds like he was a cottage guest, not staying in the motel. WIFI is available to all guest but does not reach the cottages, so they need to come near the lobby to connect. Unfortunately we don't have an...
