We've been coming to the National Inn for almost 30-years. Each time we've had different rooms, so we can say there are good ones and bad ones. One thing to say, we love them all, including the ones that are near the traffic circle. It's an old place. The floors creak. Some bathrooms are dated. It's part of the experience....

This was my first visit to Marshall [even though I live less than 100 miles away!] but it definitely won't be my last visit to Marshall, and the NATIONAL HOUSE INN will be the go-to place to stay! Where to start? So lovely. So nicely decorated. Clean and welcoming. Beginning with check-in process, the Innkeeper, Debbie, was so friendly and...

Admittedly, I am spending my only night here. That said, I have been impressed by the ambience of the reception and the historic space itself to give high recommendations. The Gordon room is small but overlooks a quieter garden. It's cozy with its little fireplace. Nancy allowed us to check in a little early. That was so accommodating and much...

This is what I see a great B&B to be. It is a historic building, with modern conveniences of course, in a charming town. The facility is clean and well maintained. Of course there are the creaks and sounds associated with any old building but that only adds to the charm. It is within a block walk to the downtown...

We started staying at the National House in 1978. At the time the only room we could afford was the Adams Crosswhite room!! And to us it was Heaven. We have revisited many times since then and have stayed in virtually every room. So 38 years later it is one of our 5star accomodations and we could not recommend it...

Great B&B steeped in history. The Inn has been open for lodging since the early 1835. A two story multi-room inn it has space to grab a spot of tea, or coffee in the morning into the evening. Historic inn with a nice team managing the daily needs of its guests.

This was our first time to the National House Inn. We had a wonderful time! From the moment we arrived to the time we checked out we found the owner and her staff welcoming, kind and helpful. The Inn has many unique qualities to explore and the homemade breakfast was delicious!

This BB is in the perfect location and close to everything. It is a really old house with creaky floors and character. The best part about this place was the staff, they really go out of their way to make you feel welcome and comfortable. The room was great and the bed and sheets super comfortable.

Why would you stay in one of those polyester motels when you could have a lovely historic setting with comfort, hospitality and luxury for similar pricing? Barb went above and beyond to make me comfortable and ensure that my stay was the best possible.

My friend and I stayed here for a girls' getaway and had a thoroughly enjoyable time. The innkeepers were so friendly and all the rooms oozed character and comfort. The breakfast was so delicious and the location was great for strolling around Marshall. I can't recommend this place enough.
