The current owners have done a splendid job of rescuing and updating this important historic property. Convenient to downtown, comfortable, airy rooms, a classic vintage lobby with friendly and helpful staff, and very good (if slightly slow during our visit) food service. Definitely worth adding to your list for a Marquette stay.

What a great property, good food , well equipped rooms, and kind of like the Grand Hotel on Mackanaw Island. We traveled 6 hours to visit the area for the UP 200 what a thrill a must see. There are plenty of venues for eating in the building. Beautiful view up top.

We spent four nights in three hotels this past week (including an overpriced hotel in Dearborn), and without a doubt, The Landmark Inn was our favorite. We didn't make it to the 6th floor bar, but the Pub and the Piedmont Restaurant on the main floor were great. As was the staff. Highly recommend!

This is our second stay at The Landmark - an old, central city hotel. Charm, large comfortable rooms, a terrific main floor bar with good food and a friendly engaging staff. Breakfast in the dining room was first rate. This is the type of lodging where you feel welcome from the moment you walk in the door. A quiet, comfortable...

The Landmark is our go-to place to have a totally relaxing and pampered stay. With its three restaurants, we will often stay within the Inn the entire time. It is luxury. Every staff person has been personable and has offered exceptional service. The rooms are lovely and clean. The food is excellent. Marquette is a cool University city on the...

Being from the area, I never had a reason to stay here. Well, after moving away and visiting the area I finally had my chance. It was very enjoyable. There were a couple small cosmetic issues in the bathroom but otherwise our room was great. We loved the fireplace and lake view. We stopped at the bar and had a...

We stayed for three nights over the holiday weekend. The hotel was quiet and seemed to be empty. Parking was not a problem even though the lot was small. The hotel does offer free valet parking. Unfortunately, the parking was not covered which would be nice in the winter months. The king room was a decent size with a comfortable...

Marquette is a beautiful place to be when traveling between Northern Minnesota and Southern Michigan. The ambiance, comfort, and amenities of the Landmark Hotel has turned Marquette into an any season destination. The customer service is outstanding the rooms are quaint, and the pillows are fluffy. It is a must when staying in Marquette.

The weather wasn't nice so it was great that we didn't have to leave the premises for dinner and drinks! Our bartender in the lounge was super friendly and knowledgeable. Our chef came to the table to see if we enjoyed our food (we did). We had a fireplace in our room. Large bathroom. We would go back.
