I was in town to fish the Manistee and we stopped at TJ's for a beer and burger. The pub was great and we liked the place so much we ended up staying at the hotel as well. Great room, really nice people and such an upgrade from the typical. I would recommend the Ramsdell to anyone who needs to...

Recently spent one night at the Ramsdell on our way to the Upper Peninsula. The inn and area is rich in history. We enjoyed our stay, we booked a fourth floor room , so pack light as there is not an elevator. The staff were friendly and welcoming. The room was updated, bright and clean. We enjoyed the pub in...

the hotel is nicely remodeled and has a lot of charm, however they do not have a full time in keeper. I felt like we where always looking for someone to help us when needed. The room was comfortable and nicely appointed although a little hot, the A/C could not keep up with Western exposure.

Hi Dan! Thanks for staying with us! I apologize for the lack of staff, being a small inn it's a little difficult to be staffed 24 hours like larger hotels. Again, I apologize and hope you'll stay with us again!

The wife and I celebrated our anniversary in Manistee. We chose to stay at the Ramsdell, and are so very glad that we did. It was clean, tidy and quiet. The bed was amazingly comfortable. Housekeeping did a great job. Check-in was smooth and efficient. We STRONGLY recommend this as a lodging choice if you visit Manistee.

Our room was clean and well decorated. The bathroom was very large and renovated. It was located in the middle of downtown with some great restaurants and shops. It was a quiet and comfortable place to stay.

Everyone knows Manistee is a town with great history, beginning with the lumber industry and salt mines to the boat building, sand mining and garment making. My husband is from this town and we love going back every year for the 4th of July 'Manistee National Forest Festival." I was not disappointed to spend 3 nights there at the Ramsdell...

The Ramsdell is a clean and beautiful inn. We stayed in the Jefferson room which is gorgeous & comfortable. The owners are gracious and enjoyable to talk with about the area. The Pub is a great spot for food and drink. Located only a mile from Lake Michigan, you can take the scenic Riverwalk all the way to the lighthouse.

My parents and I decided to stop into Manistee, Mi on our way to Travese City, and head to The Ramsdell Inn to visit an old friend of my parents. The lady, my parents' friend, no longer worked there but to my surprise, as I am an architectural buff, the building was gorgeous. There is a pub on the main...
