We stayed here because it was close to where we needed to be. It worked. We were warm, safe, and dry. It had a bed, and a bathroom, TV chair, dresser and sink. I kept thinking that they could spend $100 and make this room special...fix broken outlets, a bit of paint, etc. Mattresses and bedding at end of life....

I feel the need to leave a positive review. Before booking ,I read a few negative ones that almost stopped me from booking. Firstly the staff is very friendly and great. The rooms are as clean as they can be! Yes.the furniture shows some wear,NO big deal. Furnace works super well. Flatscreen tv with cable, microwave, refrigerator,no coffee pot,but the office has some...

The motel was not anticipated to be that bad for the price- 70-80 dollars should have been somewhat better, It reminded me of a motel I stayed 20 years ago in San Antonio, but for 25 bucks. I guess with no much of a competition why would any one fix anything and make it more inviting. But if you are...

This place is absolutely disgusting!!! I have never seen or stayed at such a filthy and run down motel. I am truly amazed that this place is legally able to operate. I could not even begin to cover the issues! But I will try! No door lock, broken toilet, broken counter, broken shower, ripped carpet, holes in walls, filthy linens....

The only thing nice was the nice young lady on duty. The rooms were nasty to say the least. It's a shame. no excuses for dirty rooms! The price was great but no frills here. No coffee in rooms and office doesn't open till 8am, 9am on weekends. No blow dryers, not even a box of Kleenex. We wish we...

When my granny of 107 years young was still alive she had a saying that she lived by "poverty is not an excuse for filth." The reason i say this is because my husband and I on a long trip to TC decided to make a stop and find a place to rest for the night. We were incited to...

We had a bad storm with falling trees, power outages etc and after the 3rd day with no power, I went looking for a motel. I tried a few before coming here and they made a bad situation as good as can be. I stayed here for 6 days and they went out of their way to make sure I...

The place is a older motel. Needs to have Alot of updating to do. They do offer snowmobile and quad rentals.I would stay again in a pinch. My 2 son's didn't mind staying there. The bed was kinda springy I prefer a fi mattress.oh and the tv is like 15 inch.

I was very tired when I saw this motel, I drove through town but didn’t see another place to stay so the Mancelona was it. The outside looked well kept, the insides are not. My first room had a broken tv and no wifi connection. The floor was uneven and lumpy. The frig was cold and the microwave worked well...
