I loved the simplicity of the room. It was very clean. Some things are a little dated, but you can tell that they try to keep up with the times. We had an awesome view of the bridge....a nice balcony with chairs to sit outside. I would stay there again no question.

The beds were extremely uncomfortable and we all awoke to back pain and numb arms. The room was muggy and smelled of carpet freshener and stale body odor. There was no hot water from the sink. Fortunately, the shower did have hot water. The "fitness room" was disappointing to look at and also did not open at the time it...

We stayed here three nights. The man at the front desk didn't force us but let us know there was one room left with a bridge view as our reserved room didn't have one. We did go with the room change and it was definitely worth the switch. We had problems with the wi-fi and that same man was more...

Pros: VERY friendly and helpful staff. Nice pool area, though pool looked a little dirty on the bottom. Room was mostly clean when we got in, lots of cobwebs though. Shared balcony with other rooms on same floor. Cons: "Premium" room was really nothing more than your standard hotel room with a king size bed. Bridge view is decent, but...

This is our 7th time staying here and never disappointing! The room clean (a little musty smell this time, but this room doesn't get used often and was taken care of) The breakfast satisfying and the staff very friendly and helpful! Will be back in the fall for the colors!

The advertisement on the internet made it sound like it was an older Hotel and it was a little bit less price then some of the others around. We chose it for its location and its price but still weren't sure. Well, I'm guessing they must have really updated because the room was very nice... clean was the word we...

I brought my granddaughter to visit and see the Mackinaw Bridge for the first time. The manager/owner charged me $169.00 a night for a advertised $82.00 a night room. We stayed one night and returned home. This will be a day trip in the future due me living in Michigan. What a shame to take advantage of people so badly...

We have stayed at the Parkside Inn several times but this time the trip was for the Labor Day walk across the bridge. Get there early or the walk will take hours. Many joggers finish the bridge in well under an hour but walking is much longer. If you are near the front you can walk at your own pace....

This was our first stay at this facility. It is worth a repeat. We chose it for its accessibility and its proximity to our planned activities and dining preferences. Plus it was close to the Old Mackinaw Lighthouse. It met our needs and was a pleasant stay. The room was clean and comfortable. The breakfast that was provided was adequate...
