Stayed at the Cottage Inn Bed and Breakfast on Mackinac Island, Michigan, from August 29 to September 1, 2014. (2nd Time at this B&B) Don and Virginia are, as always, excellent hosts, and made us feel like family, and we will be coming back often. The property is excellently maintained, within and without, breakfast was the superb:) Housekeeping was meticulous...

We stayed here in July 2014 and have no complaints. The cottage is close to all the main street restaurants and shops yet not on main street so you don't have the noise. The people managing the cottage where helpful in everyway and breakfast was superb! We had to catch an early ferry back to the mainland before breakfast was...

The inn is located in a great place. It is near the shops, park, and fort. The homemade breakfasts were delicious as well as the snacks of local fudge and caramel corn in the afternoons. The innkeepers were very friendly and recommended restaurants and other local attractions. This was my second time to stay at the Cottage Inn. Both stays...

We had a story-book experience with innkeepers Don and Virginia and the other guests at the picture-perfect Cottage Inn on enchanting Mackinac Island, Michigan. The inn was immaculate, the food was great, and Don and Virginia, were two of the finest people I have ever met.

My partner and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Cottage Inn. We stayed for three days and two nights, and wished we could have stayed longer. We frequent inns around the country, and have a few criteria we look for. This B&B met our pickiest critiques. The bed was comfy, the hosts were personable and helpful, the meals were...

We had a delightful experience at this cozy B&B. Our room was very comfortable, clean and nicely furnished. Convenient location as well. Congenial Innkeepers Virginia and Don were readily available for conversation and providing us with history and information of various questions we had about the operations of the Island. Great breakfasts and afternoon refreshments, too. We would return! Petersons

My mother, friends and I were made to feel right at home by the managers, Don and Virginia Gmazel. Our rooms were readily presented to us and how delightfully decorated! We had a wonderful stay at this B&B earlier this week. The innkeepers were friendly and welcoming to us and our three children. Our room was very clean and well-appointed, and breakfast was delicious -- a self-serve buffet which was nice and more relaxed than waiting for someone to bring us breakfast. We also loved their little dog who napped...

We stayed two nights and the inn was wonderful. The innkeepers are very nice and friendly. The breakfast was homemade and good. The inn is close to the fort and just one block from Main Street, but it was very quiet. Really enjoyed hearing the horses clip-clopping on the street outside, and the playing of taps from the fort each...
