Not taking reservations for this season... Waiting to hear the scoop soon on what will happen to my favorite! Hoping they will re-open under the new owners and be available soon. It's such a lovely place on a quiet street with the occasional clip-clop of horses.

We stayed for just one night, but we so desperately want to come back and stay two or three nights. The B&B is on a quiet street and the homes are very well looked after. The breakfast was just what I wanted (cereal, homemade bread, hard cooked eggs and tea/coffee). The bathrooms are shared, but that didn't bother us at... More

Great location...close enough yet away from the mayhem of Main Street. Clean comfortable and affordable. Nice breakfast served each morning. A charming young lady from Jamaica is available at the push of the call button should you need anything. There was a small refrigerator on the second floor for guests to use which was nice. There is also a quiet... More

We had a great time! When we first arrived we found that our room did not have a private bath that we had anticipated so the head of the building was very accommodating and gave us a room with a private bath. We will be back in the near future!!!!!!

My family and I stayed at Chateu Lorraine for two nights at the end of July 2015. I was happy to find a place where we could have an entire floor of a B&B. The setup worked great for our group of seven - we had all four bedrooms on the third floor, both bathrooms, and one of the rooms... More

We like to stay at a different place on each visit. We had our own bath, not all the rooms do. The room had two beds, so it works for a family. The decor was cute, like visiting an elderly aunt. It could be updated, but it is clean and it works. Notes written with a pen on paper are... More

Quiet location just a few blocks east of the fort, wake to birds singing & the occasional clip-clop of horses, no downtown crowds. Very pretty, comfy rooms. They now have A/C in every room + ceiling fans + cotton quilts, tvs just have a few channels (island is so beautiful, don't get stuck watching!!). A few rooms have private attached... More

We expected a simple breakfast, location away from the masses but within easy walking distance. We knew about the hill to the front door but it was only about a minute walk up. Sharing a bathroom was a little like staying with a relative. You just politely wait your turn. The garden offered a quiet place to have coffee and... More

We stayed here for one night, and it was so nice! The rooms were very clean and the hosts' generosity was beyond expectations! We had taken food with us, and they were very generous: allowing us to heat up our food during lunch and dinner! All in all, they were very accommodating and we had a wonderful experience!

“Ask about the rooms and bed configurations. Some have private baths, others shared. Be prepared for doilies and lace.”

“1st floor has just 1 room w/private bath. 2nd floor has less stairs than 3rd. Great views from every room! No rooms share wall with bathroom, but rear rooms you *may* be able to slightly hear shower or flushing. We've stayed in about 8 of the rooms, and love them all. If you have a stroller, can leave it in the front porch, I'd ask for 1st or 2nd floor room with small children--make sure they don't try to open the windows as there's no guard on them to prevent falling (it's an antique house).”
