We only stayed one night, but we will be back for an extended stay. The view of the sunset on Lake Michigan was breathtaking! Loved the kitchenette area and the rocking chairs out on the patio. We can't wait to come back and stay longer. Within walking distance of the "downtown" area, for shops and eateries. Great view of Lake...

We stayed the night of October 14 and got the last available room for the night. First, the WiFi was so weak as to be non-existant. Second, and most important, the room had NO sound insulation. When neighbors ran a shower or flushed a toilet, our whole room was like being in the middle of a base drum: We repeatedly...

Clean room, friendly staff, and amazing views of Lake Michigan. The rocking chairs on the deck were a great addition. Enjoyed watching the SS Badger come and go. Close to the lighthouse which was a great morning walk.

We drove in and got a room last minute - with a view of the lake and ferry entering and exiting. Decor was dated, but room was clean and staff very friendly. Enjoyed the balcony. I would stay there again.

Normally don't shout out too many kudos; yet after a disappointing stay further north in Frankfort, MI - I must proclaim my joyous exuberance while staying at Snyder's. From the time we walked into the lobby til the minute we (reluctantly) had to leave; Everything couldn't have gone any better. Backtrack to earlier in the week; spent 2 nights at...

Mom/Pop traditional motel. Under new ownership and it's evident they are trying to update. Hallways newly carpeted and painted. Mattress new and comfy. Carpeting in room new. But the room was very small...8' x12' ish. Bathroom very old, shabby, and tiny! 5'square. Shower 2.5' square. No counter space. Light fixture, towel rack and toilet paper holder not removed when old...

Just came home from a short stay. The view out our room was amazing, especially at sunset. The room was small, and reminded me of a 1950's motel. But the bed was good, and the room clean. The Internet connection was non-existant! I was able to connect only once, in the hotel lobby. The breakfast; also poor. Frozen cheese omlettes,...

My husband and I stayed here for one night before catching the ferry. This place is a "mom and pop" place - super cute and right on the beach. They are in the process of remodeling the place as well. Our room was a cute, updated, typical hotel room. The pool and hot tub are updated as well, very nice....

We stayed for one night before catching the ferry. The staff wasn't rude, but they certainly didn't smile as we checked in. The room was stuffy and honestly did not smell great, kind of musty. Went into the bathroom to find dust on the floorboards so thick you could write your name in it, no one notices clean, everyone sees...

Wonderful location. Terrific outdoor pool and hot tub. Breakfast is ok as are the rooms, but it has a cozy family feel to the place. We love to watch the ferry going in & out the channel and the fishing boats bringing in their catch late in the day. Watching the sun and moon set in the lake can't be...
