A three day stay during the Memorial Day weekend was delightful. The home has had only three family owners since the early 20th century. The original owner's profession was in lumbering, and he showcased that by paneling every first floor room in a different wood species. The foyer in red oak, the music room in mahogany, the sitting room in...

A couple of years ago, we were driving through Ludington and saw this beautiful yellow mansion. I noted its name - Cartier Mansion B&B and put it on my "bucket list" of things to do. We finally stayed here and it is "bucket list" worthy. The house is grand, historic, and beautifully maintained. The owners are gracious and welcoming. We...

This facility is one of the best for history travelers. This location shares a wealth of Americana and is being kept in a way that will delight any historical preservation purist. The value of this cannot be overlooked yet, the customer service might run parallel to the history which says a great deal about the B&B keepers! I loved the...

The Cartier Mansion like the famous jeweler is a real gem. Sue Ann and Gary were wonderful hosts. We enjoyed the history and the tour of the house. The breakfast was a sumptuous feast. The bedroom and bath were interesting and comfortable.

Our stay at the Cartier Mansion was stellar. From our warm and friendly greeting at the door by Ashley, you could tell that the place is a labor of love since the early 1900s and that the staff thoroughly enjoy working there. Sue Ann and Gary, the current owners and proprietors of the B&B, provided a spread at breakfast that...

My husband and I frequent bed and breakfasts, so when friends invited us to Ludington, we decided to try the Cartier Mansion. There are exactly ZERO bed and breakfasts we've ever given a negative review about. Could we have rated Cartier's Mansion a zero, we would have. During a telephone conversation prior to arrival, I got a bad feeling about...

We had a Wonderful visit at the Cartier Mansion. The home has been beautifully maintained over the years. To walk through the front doors is to step back in time. The woodwork is amazing. Each room designed with a different type of wood. The owners were very friendly and hospitable. They went above and beyond to point out specific points...

I decided to stay at the mansion for our wedding weekend, it was the most amazing place to stay. The rooms are beautiful, with every luxury that you could imagine. We had 4 out of the 5 rooms reserved, one room had a new baby. We were not sure if our family member with the new baby was going to...
