We held our family reunion at our home but becasue we had so many people coming from all over the country, I worked with Main Street Inn to get our extended family set up with lodging here. I couldn't have asked for a better experience! My uncle is handicapped and because there is no designated handicapped parking near the building...

As you enter the lobby you think you're coming into the historic hotel until you see the rooms which are very modern, like visiting somebody's home. We stayed in the upstairs number seven which is the largest room in the hotel. Spectacular view of the river as well as skylights in a huge comfy bed. Right off the bedroom is...

My husband and I loved the suite - amazing view of the river, comfortable bed and roomy shower. The staff was very friendly and told us about great local restaurants and things to do. Very quiet at night...no noise from anywhere in the inn. Nice nearby river walk.

I found this on Groupon and decided since we had to be in the area for a funeral we should try it out!! Beautifully redone historic building. Only had 7 rooms, but upstairs is an awesome gathering area, with a complete kitchen for the guests to use if they wish!! The showers are amazing!! Double shower heads and hot enough...

Stayed here while on a business trip to the area. It my appear from the outside as a historic hotel, but the interior is all up to date. With WiFi and flat screen TV's. A very nice "lobby" area on the second floor with a kitchen and fridge for guests. Showers were amazing with nice tile and double head showers....

I came into town on business for the week (Ionia) and noticed the lack of larger or nicer hotels in the area. I decided to extend my search from Ionia to East Grand Rapids and somehow was lucky enough to find this little gem on the river. The staff is super nice and very helpful. My room (#4) Was roomy...

Easy to find location, downtown Lowell, on the river. We stayed in room 4, which was a smaller room, but very similar in size to other historic hotels where we've stayed. While this looks like a historic hotel, its really very new with modern conveniences, like large showers, flat screen televisions and Keurig coffee makers. Our room opened up to...

What a beautiful location on the Grand River in a really town. A great place to go to get away from it all. The staff was great, the room was beautiful and clean. It was easy to get around the Lowell and to get into Grand Rapids if needed.
