Good pet-friendly accommodations nice layout for the price. PROBABLY everything original from 1960's. Right on the Sturgeon River. Great location if this place would do some updating, TLC, maintenance this would be a gem. Very cheap you pay for what you get. Stayed in cabin number 20 for two nights. Would have happily paid more for the cabin if they...

I have traveled up north to Indian River a few times each year since at least 2005. I ALWAYS end up contacting Indian River Motel. These guys are great. From my understanding, it is a Polish owned family business. Pretty cool hearing about the Polish culture in the area. The cabins are very rustic. No flat screens as far as...

We stopped late in the evening to find somewhere to stay. The Indian River Motel and cabins was it. At $50 a night, we weren't picky and should have been. For those interested in fishing and not caring where they stayed, this is it. For a family for the night, go down the road. Our room was musty and the...

The cabins are in are great location. Right in town, on the river and across from the Burt Lake State park and the canoe livery....things are within walking distance. The motel and cabins are clean but everything is a bit old and run down but the rental costs reflect that. Cheap to rent but not the Ritz.

The cabins are in need of updates and repairs. It was quite different from our original visit in 2014 and I feel an update to my post is needed so everyone is aware of exactly what they will get if they choose to stay here. There appears to be some mold or mold treatment inside the cabin, it was white...

I in fact did read the reviews but like every review you ever read, there is good and bad. I booked this place after seeing it online in which it looks awesome. Inside and out. Not quite sure where they got the pics of the inside. Probably another resort. The outside pics definitely show the real cabins but probably 40...

We arrived in the evening, but that could still not hide the animal hair on the sheets and bugs in the bed. We choose not to stay after 10 minutes from checking in. The owner was very nice and did not seem surprised at all. They immediately gave us a refund and we went to a hotel by the highway.

Please, please do not ever stay here!! If you could look past the moldy bathtub, water that would not shut all the way off and spider webs everywhere you still wouldn't want to stay here. I am not being sarcastic when I say this place should be shut down. Carpet held in place by duct tape, toilet coming off the...

The person we dealt with was nice. The cottages smelled moldy. Electrical not safe. The grass and weeds have grown up around cabins. Cabins are rotting. Mice infested. Clean sheets. Seems like owners are going to rent them out to get money out of them til they fall down. Not clean at all. Did not like being in cabin at...

The cabins & cottages are what you need, no frills, no fluff, just basics. AND best yet, they allow dogs for a very reasonable fee in addition to the cabin rental. My husband and I got a cozy cabin with a great view. Close to the river, grocery store is walking distance close but yet out of sight. Some cabins...
