good time good food and had fun at the pool and casino. room was nice and all was priced right. we decided to break up our drive to mackinac island from the fox valley and it was an excellent choice both for value and location.
My husband and I stayed on a Friday night recently. We had reservations. We arrived right at the stated check in time and there was a long line. We decided to enjoy the casino for a while before checking in. After an hour there still...More

Good, Basic Casino Hotel Rooms - Decent place to sleep when one is not gaming, eating, drinking, swimming, golfing or people-watching. Skews old, but...it is a north-woods casino, after-all. No complaints. Decent price - went there on a golf package - got coupons for gaming...More

Yes there are shuttles to most hotels in Escanaba. But call the hotel or casino and ask if the one you want to stay in is serviced. Friends stayed in the Comfort Inn Suites and shuttled. Another option is check for bus trips from your area to the Island and see if they have any openings. Buses usually book a large number (48 to 57) rooms and then try to sell the trips through web sites, senior newspapers or travel guides. Good luck you will enjoy the resort as it's one of the nicer ones in Michigan

Thanks for the great question Randy! The eleven-story Palm Tower was constructed/completed in April of 2007 as part of a $45 million expansion project. The Palm Tower hosts 200 standard guest rooms along with our Presidential and Studio Suites.
The Sun Tower which is located near the Firekeeper's Restaurant, is what served as our stand-alone hotel prior to the construction of the Palm Tower. It is important to note that all of the rooms and suites housed in the Sun Tower have undergone substantial renovation within the last two years in order to keep in-line with the rooms housed in the Palm Tower!
