Try to stay at local owned property when in new area and this one had good T/A rating. Owner friendly enough and room was on lake which is the primary reason we wanted to stay. Two bedrooms with low ceilings but clean and tidy. Price was inexpensive which evened out a couple small discrepancies like small bath and shower. Will...

Tiny little motel along the shoreline of Lake Huron. Squeaky clean room, comfortable beds, and extremely friendly owners. We were pleasantly surprised and plan on coming back. Oh, and the price was amazing!

We were in town for a fishing trip and needed a place to stay. Rooms are small, but clean, rustic and comfortable. Place was perfect for what we needed. Extra blankets were available if we needed them.

Sometimes you want that great U.P. feel without driving that far. I will stay there again. Weekend mother, daughter getaway for some beach combing and photography. CLEAN,CLEAN,CLEAN! A stone's throw from Detroit. Fantastic affordable food just around the corner in each direction. The beach is not a swimming beach but nice none the less. Even had a Bald eagle fly...

My mom and I are rock hunters. We wanted to stay in a place north of Port Huron in search of new beaches for rock hunting. We found this place online. No website. Reviews were up and down on Trip Advisor. The price per night made us nervous as it is $55 + tax per night. Sounded to good to...

Yuck the high rating isn't accurate. Read very rustic. Not even close to motel standards. Lake view isn't that great with no access to a beach area. Rooms are very dated. Needs a remodel. Green carpet, panel walls. Near a wastewater treatment plant.

Very small room. Very old, but otherwise clean. Bottom line you get what you pay for. We did have bugs in our room. We left early next day so not much more to add. If you don't expect much you won't be disappointed.

Very clean and well maintained cute tiny property. The sheets were 5 star. I know it may seem surprising to find such luxurious sheets at this little motel but they were. Very small room and bathroom but everything was clean, tidy and cozy.

We have stayed at this little motel many times over the years. Sometimes with the kids and sometimes just the wife and me. Most times we stayed during the Michigan Deer hunting season or fall Salmon fishing. So I would highly recommend it for....."A real vacation on the lake" :)

By far one of the best motel values I have enjoyed in a long time. Rooms are small, but neat and tidy and perfect for a good nights sleep. If you are going to Harbor Beach or the surronding area you would do well to book a room here with these nice people.
