Enjoyed our stay at Khardomah Lodge. The lodge has had recent updates including new beds/bedding and updated bathrooms. Old and new feel at the same time in a good way! Loved hearing the history of the lodge. Fridges and full kitchen available for use. You can't beat the short walk to the beach, lighthouse and more.

As minimalist travelers, we used to love to go to the Khardomah Lodge. The rooms were rugged and modest, the common areas homey, and the availability of a complete shared kitchen made this place perfect--- especially with only a 5 minute walk to Lake Michigan! HOWEVER, it is now under new ownership (2016) and prices have skyrocketed with a two-night...

We stayed at Khardomah for a 90th birthday/family reunion with about 38 people. Plenty of sleeping space and lounge space. Never did I feel like there wasn't a place to go to sit and talk, play games, listen to music, etc. The dining facilities reminded me of my Girl Scout days with a "vintage" kitchen and mismatched tables, but it...

Wonderful location, an easy walk to the beach, about a block to overlook with the steps down the dune. The overlook was the perfect spot to watch the sunset each evening. We rode our bikes downtown; the town trolley that passes by the lodge is another fun way to get downtown. The new manager was very helpful, accommodating, and informative...

Everyone was nice. It was clean and cozy. Very close to the beach. We were...

Stayed here while on a whirlwind tour of Michigan with my wife, sister and brother-in-law. Met at the entrance by the person on duty who was very friendly and informative. She gave us a tour of the lodge including a history of the building. We noticed a For Sale sign outside and she told us the owners have another place...

We loved staying here. Very unique and cozy. Cutely decorated with lots of different antiques. Set in a private wooded area where we even saw deer with there babies my daughter loved it. Staff was friendly and even mailed our towels back at no charge when we forgot them. Would definitely recommend!

Yes it is a little run down but it was clean, comfortable and very quiet. The walk to the beach was about one minute and it would be a great place to stay for a family reunion. We stayed on the top floor and it's a shared bathroom but no one else was on the floor so we had it...

We stayed at the Khardomah Lodge for one week. The location is excellent, a short walk to the beach and a short drive into town. The neighborhood and beaches are great. The house is large and has plenty of room to spread out, especially on the back deck looking out into the woods and the front porch. Unfortunately, the house...
