We have been coming here twice a year for nearly 20 years (summer and winter).
The reception center recently removed the coffee machine and the result is terrible. Now they have a thermos with only regular coffee... Not to mention they no longer have decaf...More
I rarely will leave negative feedback, and often would just as soon not leave it if I can't find something good to say. But certainly would have given this a 4 star rating if not for a few "housekeeping" problems during our stay. This resort...More
We chose the area of the Homestead called the "Fiddler's Pond" due to only staying 2 nights. It was not a spacious room, however it was clean and close to the "Village" for shopping, groceries, etc. There is a wide variety of room needs, from...More
We felt like we were in our own little world. It is so quiet and peaceful and the surroundings are the most beautiful combination of garden, forest and lake! There were walking paths all over and easy access to the beaches. Plenty to keep kids...More
Beautiful place. The setting for a wedding was amazing. They do not have enough staff. Our Roma were not ready, could not locate a working ice machine, did not receive good directions on the use of their shuttle system and they billed us twice. They...More

None of us had any trouble at all with wifi. We had fridges in our rooms at Fiddlers'. The little village is right there; family members used the store and had breakfast there - I didn't. Don't know about ice - didn't need any. Being so close to the awesome cottage towns up and down m-22, don't miss the chance to enjoy those and the other fabulous things to see and do in the area. One of the best shorelines in Michigan for beauty and memory-making!

I think that Little Belle is romantic with views of a small pond. But Fiddlers Pond ( the least expensive) is also nice. We've stayed everywhere and we're able to find romance in all of them! Yes, this place is a little unkempt on the outside of the rooms as this resort is on the water and in the woods. The grounds are beautiful! I hope you enjoy your trip. Every place we've been to whether here or somewhere else, there is trouble finding people to work. They do they're best here with that problem. Some of the restaurants were unable to open last year due to the lack of help. But it's like that everywhere in Florida ( where we live in the winter) also.

"The Inn is by Lake Michigan & pools, Fiddlers Pond is near Village center & pools."
