Mary and John's home is lovely. Mary was a wonderful host, warm and friendly and very helpful. She suggested that we visit sites that were not in the book and we did. Mary was very attentive to details and served us a wonderful breakfast. She gave us a tour of the property and the fairy ring. We really felt that... More

Mary was so amazing the two nights we stayed and it was not to far out of town! She showed us around her home and we had an awesome time staying with her! For sure the next trip to Ireland we will have to come back to Mary!

Thanks for welcoming us; me, my wife and two girls aged 9 and 8 last weekend. A spotless, very comfortable room and the house was so quiet, despite all 4 rooms being filled that night. But the highlight had to be the breakfast which was the biggest and the best I'd ever eaten! Thanks also for showing the girls the... More

The property and house were beautiful and clean, and the breakfast was fine. However, the walls between rooms must be thin - we could hear our neighbors snoring, and we were asked by the proprietor to stop showering at night because it was too loud.

On a trip around the ROI, Mary gave us a warm welcome and assisted us in any way, before our arrival and during our stay. We only stayed for one night in the family room which is spacious enough for 4 people. Full Irish breakfast was well prepared and Mary really took care of us. The location might be a... More

From when we first arrived we did not feel very welcome. The hosts husband totally ignored us and the host didn't even know who we were. The accommodation was ver very basic, the heating and hot water was not on so our children had to have a cold shower. The breakfast was ok. If you are after a pillow to... More

I stayed here as a solo female traveler and it was the perfect first stop after Dublin! My room was clean and spacious with private bathroom on a beautiful farm! Not too far from Kell's Priory, Jerpoint Abbey, and Kilkenny city! John and Mary were wonderful hosts!

My wife and I were on our honeymoon and traveled all over Ireland. This was by and far one of the best B&B's around. Mary and John were absolutely amazing hosts. We were a little late because of GPS error, and after finally just accepting that we were lost and called them, John actually drove out to find us and... More

Great B&B with a real family atmosphere!! Mary was the most welcoming host, and couldn't have been more friendly, she also had wonderful stories about the area and the local people. Kilkenny city is only a 15minute drive away , or €25 in a taxi. Great views from the front of the house which we enjoyed as we sat in... More

Mary and John are great hosts! We had a peaceful sleep in the country after touring the many large greenhouses and Celtic ring fort on the property. A filling Irish breakfast, allowing you to try different Irish foods. Would definetly stay here again!
