Overall had a really nice experience. The front desk staff were all wonderful and very friendly. We had a group of 10 and and they were able to get all 5 rooms next to each other for us. The bartender in the on-site restaurant was also nice and personable. The only issue we had was with a couple of other... More

There were stains all over the carpeting. My non-smoking room smelled like smoke. That bathtub/shower combination was just gross and the water would not run down the drain. The stairwell smelled like vomit.

Our room had a restroom that was in dire need of updating/repair. Needed to be caulked. The room was just fine where the beds were. We parked where they told us to park and the entire parking lot was pitch black. Had we not been in Gaylord, there would have been no way I would have parked there and walked... More

This was our second trip to the Alpine Lodge. In fact, we were in the area for a weekend trip and went out of our way specifically to stay at the Alpine Lodge again! The hotel is great and the staff was wonderful. The entire hotel was very clean, the bed and room were comfortable and the wifi was great.... More

The bones of the building are fine. The carpet needs to be replaced. A lot of painting needs to be done. Upgrades would be nice. The price is great but don't expect more than what you're buying. The free breakfast was okay and appreciated.

Good price for a very average hotel. Nothing special, just ok for that one night stay. No elevator, so be prepared to walk up the stairs. Staff was friendly. Slight musty odor throughout. Good Mexican restaurant with in walking distance.

I don't mind a "dated" property as long as it's clean. This place was dated and dirty. Sheets had hair on them, towels had stains on them. Common areas including breakfast area and hallways needed vacuuming and the carpeting shampooed or replaced. Mold on tile grout in bathroom. Broken down pool tables and ping pong paddles. Tired and dirty. Won't... More

Our experience began with not being able to check-in on time. Many times I have checked in to hotels early so we thought it was no big deal to arrive at 1:00 , but we were mistaken. We were told quite frankly we were not allowed to check-in till 3:00. So we had to wait around town. When we came... More

Would not ever return or tell others to even try once. Filthy. Expensive (over $900 for three dirty rooms with filthy bathrooms, for 2 nights).. Poor maintenance (people broke many beer and liquor bottles around pool and glass was still all over floor near and aroundpool. No one did anything about it after we told them it wasn't cleaned up.... More
