We had excellent service on our October visit to Harbor Lights. From our first phone call to the day we left. Everyone was friendly and helpful and accommodating. The suite we had was so cozy, clean and decorated beautifully. One day we had wind and rain and we had a wonderful time staying warm by the fireplace inside our room.... More

We stayed in suite 403, which was a ground floor unit with a full kitchen. We were a little disappointed that we couldn't see the beach from our room, but it was still a very nice room. The fireplace was a nice touch and the jacuzzi tub was great as well. Everything was exceptionally clean and well maintained, and we... More

The room was small, couldn't use the w/c without difficulty, toilet not Up to code, bathroom small and couldn't use shower. It was the worse handicapped accessible room we stayed in. Talked to owner and told her same. They offered a king size room but bathroom no better and no handicapped parking. Got a $25 discount and the room was... More

We stayed here for 3 nights. Everything was better than expected ! The room was very clean, the beds were comfortable, the small kitchen was up to date and also very clean. The public beach was right outside our door. The sunsets were amazing! The owner was very helpful with directions to various sightseeing hotspots. He spent a lot of... More

Stayed for a long weekend in one of the motel rooms and I would definitely go back again. You basically walk out your door, take a few steps and you're already at the beach parking lot....the beach is that close! Walking to town is super quick, too. I mean like a 1 block walk. So convenient. The pool area was... More

Harbor Lights Resort is a very well located property on the beach ,bay and Main Street . We enjoyed the Condo units and had plenty of room to stretch out and enjoy the views to the beach and catching a sliver of the sunset from our balcony. Management was very nice . W

We booked a room at this resort in April of this year. For the price, the room was very disappointing. It was comparable to or worse than a Super 8. It opened on to a parking lot and had cheap blinds on the window that faced the parking lot. The beds were hard and the bath room was very small.... More

We loved the resort, our room overlooked Betsie Bay! Very quiet setting, we visited in April (room rates were VERY reasonable) before the summer crowds! Walked to town, shopped and later we walked to dinner! Plan on going back in the late fall when rates are cheaper!

We stayed in the hotel section of the resort. Our room was clean and updated carpet looked like new and floor was very clean considering all the sand tracked in. Refrigerator, microwave and coffee maker in room. Nice size fridge. No view from these rooms but as close to being on the beach as possible. Private beach area out front... More

So it was peak season and I was lucky to get a room - 2 actually as we had to move - and the staff were very nice and accommodating. But - for the price (close to $200/night) the rooms were a little shabby, looked out onto parking lots with no hint a lake was nearby, plus nothing extra to... More
