The location is perfect for Greektown, Stadiums or Renaissance Center. The hotel is all suites meaning that it has a sitting room with TV and couch in addition to the bedroom with king bed and TV. Wifi is free with good reception. The strangest part of the room is the huge round support pillar in the middle of the bedroom...

We stayed at this hotel as part of a very large convention and while the staff was very friendly and the rooms are very large, this hotel left much to be desired. First, their wireless internet is very slow and would not stay connected. We had 4 rooms in our group and everyone had the same issue. When this was...

Our primary reason for staying in Detroit was to go to a Tigers game. I wanted a safe hotel within walking distance, and this fit the bill. Traveling as a family of four with two teens, we find that more space equals better vacations, so the huge suite was a welcome sight. The hotel is located in a great location...

The Atheneum Suites is an all-suite hotel, and I recently stayed there after booking a "hot-rate" room on Hotwire for a short, business-related stay in Detroit. Due to early arrival, I was unable to check-in prior to the day's meetings, but the staff was considerate and checked my bags until I could return for check-in. The room was an enormous...

Regardless of where I have business in Detroit, I will always stay in this Greektown gem. In a beautiful older building, the rooms are split-level with giant tubs, windowed brick in the bathrooms and very high ceilings. The beds are also some of the best I've slept on and contrary to other reviews, I have always found it to be...

Stayed here for one night in July 2015. The hotel has several things going for it - a great location, with easy access to Greek Town and the various sporting stadia; very helpful and willing staff and huge rooms. However, it is difficult to escape from the fact that the hotel is in major need of major refurbishment: the bathroom...

I picked this hotel because of it's proximity to restaurants and other amenities. I found out that is only one of it's best features. Being right in Greektown means there are numerous restaurants, bars, bakery, convenience store, not to mention a casino. So there is always something safe and easy to get to. My traveling partner was going to an...

PROS: Beautiful hotel- the rooms were huge! We came in for a wedding and there were four of us in our room- me, my husband, and 2 teenage boys. CONS: I thought the staff had said there would be a sofa bed in our room... But it was just a very narrow sofa- no bed. We got to the room...

We stayed at the hotel for one night. It is close to Ford Field and Comerica. The hotel was clean and quiet. The suite was nice so we could watch tv after the kids were in bed. A nice big bathroom with a nice bench to use at the sink. We parked across the street Ina parking garage for $20....

I can see why this hotel is pretty popular, it is located in the middle of everything. With that said I could not get over the weird layout of my room. I felt like my room was just big for no reason. The bed was modern but then everything else was sooo oldschool. Staff was super nice and the shuttle...
