My room had a king size bed with a couch. I arrived around noon, intending to store my luggage, but they had a room ready for me. Check in was quick and easy. The room was big and had a small fridge in it. The room was very quiet even though I could hear the people next door when I...

Stayed here because of its location. The good points are its location overlooking the river and the standard of the rooms. The downside being poor service and parking management. No effective bell service and very slow reception. Room service too was shabby, returned after first day wanting a rest and room had not been serviced and issues getting that done...

I have stayed at the Courtyard-DD many times as a competitive alternative to the nearby Marriott. The property is new and nice and all rooms give interesting views of the river or surrounding buildings. The exercise area, pool, and especially the locker room with sauna and steam room are particularly nice due to being shared with an adjoining condo building....

Everything was great. Room was excellent, very close proximity to downtown and Cobo Center, easy access to the GM Renaissance Center and people mover. Lots of good restaurants nearby along with things to do. Would highly recommend. Not the cheapest but overall a good value.

I had to be in the Motor City for the Detroit Auto Show recently and was just looking for a decent hotel downtown close to the Cobo Center where the show is held. This is a typical Courtyard by Marriot and it's a little less than a mile from the Cobo Center. Easy walking distance--but generally not a nice walk...

This Courtyard was as nice or nicer than others we stay at regularly. The lobby is spacious and comfortable (in most places they have replaced lobbies with Starbucks). The room was fine and had a great view of the river and Windsor. The problems started at 12:45 AM just after i fell into REM sleep. I was awaked by a...

We stayed there weekend of Jan 21-22. The room was clean and the bed were comfortable. I would recommend this hotel to anyone who wants to stay downtown. It connects to the GM building which has a foodcourt and also can go on the people mover, which we took to go to the Joe Louis arena for a red wing...

Visited for two nights to see the auto show at the Cobo Center. The hotel was perfectly serviceable for a quick trip to Detroit. My friend checked in as a Marriott elite, and we were upgraded to an enormous--if somewhat awkwardly laid out--suite. The staff were all friendly and helpful, and the wifi was fast and reliable. Some of the...

The hotel was very easy to find, on the corner of Brush and Jefferson. We opted to self park in the garage next door to save a little money. It was a two minute walk and a clean, safe garage. Check out was probably the fastest I have had in years, as we had prebooked and prepayed. The staff were...

I came to Detroit for the night with several friends for a concert. We had several rooms booked for our stay. The rooms were ready when we arrived and the staff was wonderful.
