This Courtyard Marriott it's in a very good location of downtown Detroit MI with a beautiful view to Canada. Lobby, restaurant - bar and rooms need to be remodel. Staff is friendly at front desk. It took my attention that there was a security Gard asking for the room keys before get allowed to get into the elevators. That make...

Hi there Hector and thank you very much for posting. We apologize if you felt uncomfortable at all, but yes, the security attendant is merely assuring that only guests of the hotel are accessing guest room floors. This is not an uncommon practice in any major metropolitan hotel where the lobby is at ground level. In addition, we also boast...

We were happy with the Hotel itself. Modern and clean. Shower walls could have used some TLC, but by and large rather clean. At one point I even dropped a room key behind the large immovable dresser/TV stand. Getting down on hands and knees, I was fearful of what I would find behind. Surprisingly, also clean (for such a hard...

Great stay. Amenities are great all the way around. Having a big spacious room WITH a fridge is always a plus. Always. Gym and pool area is spacious and well equipped. BUT, one thing they used to have, at check in was a BOWL of FRUIT. An amazing way to give you a HEALTHY snack. Apples. Oranges. Whatever. But, it's...

My travels took me to the Motor City this week and of course I booked at the Courtyard. Client is in the RenCen, the Courtyard is across the street and cheaper than the fancier Marriott in the RenCen itself. Not much has changed since I stayed here 18 months ago. The staff is super friendly and helpful; the lobby seems...

We went to a concert and went out afterwards so we didn't get back until late only to discover we had no heat in our room. We called the front desk and they did nothing for us. The room was 65 all night and never got warmer (too cold for me!). They didn't move us and didn't even offer to...

Excellent location, excellent staff, very comfortable room! Staff are very professional, friendly, helpful. Great location for hockey games, great food options nearby (especially Greektown), People Mover & Skywalks on site, across from Riverfront walk, great views of Windsor, easy access to sports venues.

We were in town for 1 night to see a concert at the Fox Theater. This property is right at the Renaissance Center and offers quick access to the People Mover so it was a short ride to the concert.
