We called ahead,, all rooms in Copper Harbor were filled, we had no choice! Avoid this place! We were forced to pay $70.00 for a $35.00 hotel room. The room had a work table for computer, but no electrical outlet on wall or lamp on desk. Dish TV was awful,, poor picture, junky TV. We had no hot water Sunday...

Although this is not your typical 5 star hotel, it is perfect for the area. We just needed an inexpensive place to sleep before catching the ferry to Isle Royal and our room suited our needs perfectly. The room was immaculate and the bed was comfortable. We were able to walk to the restaurant for dinner, to the ferry dock...

Small motel with reasonably priced clean rooms. Convenient location for walking to town. Owners were friendly and hospitable. The only negatives of this motel is the parking and noise. The parking is right outside your door and loud. If you happen to have a loud inconsiderate neighbor, like we did, who felt the need to go in an out of...

The owner treated us like neighbors. She refroze our ice bottles for us and talked with us as if we were friends. We received a spacious suite for the price of a room. The beds were comfortable enabling us to sleep well. All rooms are on the ground floor.

This motel is small and clean, which serves it purpose. The rates are reasonable and people are coming to this area to enjoy the natural beauty of it, not the insides of its local motels. The owner is a nice local guy that was willing to stay up late to check us in. Very cool!

This unique northern hotel experience makes me realize that everything on earth hasn't been gentrified yet. Its a really great place to crash for a mountain biking weekend. Internet is free too! Walk to the ferry and the waterfront! Walk to restaurants! Bike from here to some of the midwest's premier mountain biking trails! Copper Harbor is a town almost...

We ended up staying at this motel because they were the only ones with vacancy the night before labor day. We ended up staying here a second night also because our ferry was delayed. We were satisfied with our stay. It was adequate. The owners pets (a cat and a dog) are friendly and charming. Restaurants and the queen IV...

We stayed here the night before taking the ferry to Isle Royale. This is a very basic motel - no coffee, no fridge, very basic. However, it is very close to the ferry. The rooms were clean. There is no ice machine, but the owner gave us ice from his fridge. The bed was firm.

We stayed here the night before catching the ferry. It is only 2 blocks from the ferry. Nothing fancy but it was clean and quiet. It was very affordable and that is what we were looking for. There is not a lobby or a restaurant which is not a problem for us.

Stayed overnight before picking up the ferry the next morning. If you are expecting a top of the line hotel with pool, spa, gym, breakfast, you will be dissapointed. This is a 1950's style motel with a comfortable bed and clean bathroom. That was all I wanted before going to Isle Royale. There was no air conditioning but you can...
