The hotel was clean. The staff was really friendly. Hotel is less then ten minutes from downtown area. Beds were comfortable. Room looked updated. Hot tub was really big and pool area/hot tub was nice, no towels in pool area but staff will make sure you get towels you need. Breakfast was good. We had it both days of our...

I have never written a bad review before. We were at this hotel for the night of 9/4/2016. Our king room suite seemed great, large room, very clean. After driving all day the jacuzzi tub seemed like a great idea. It was relaxing until we turned the jets off and saw "something that looked like dead field type grass, vomit...

This hotel looks like it was once very fancy and well loved, but scratches and dents in the wall and stains on the chairs show that it needs a bit of a makeover. It seems they started with new sheets and towels but just haven't finished. This is a decent hotel, great for a casual stay cation or budget getaway....

The rooms were very clean. The pool needed to be just a little bit warmer it was cold. I enjoyed my time at Charlevoix and think they need a bigger sign to see the driveway to entrance of the hotel. I would come back and stay at the hotel.

Made a last minute reservation for an overnight before our ferry ride to Beaver Island. Hotel is pet friendly and they were more than accommodating. Room was clean and the 1st floor was quiet. Bed was Okay, room 126 bed closest to the bathroom had a feeling like you would roll off the side ( collapsing) and it was quite...

The staff was friendly and knowledgable and the breakfast was better than I expected. But the hotel is not well maintained or very clean. Our showers in the morning were barely lukewarm. I spent way to much money to have a cold shower. The staff however did nothing to rectify or improve the issue.

Hotels location is good and the staff is great. My king bed had broken down along the edges (huge bump in the middle). Carpets were threadbare in spots. Breakfast had a good selection and was clean. My room wasn't serviced as well as I would have liked, but it was ok.

This hotel is nice, clean, with a decent breakfast, but is a very basic hotel. Not a lot of frills. I paid $200/ night because of the location and the time of year. Otherwise, I would not have considered paying this much for this type of hotel. We did encounter a problem with a noisy wedding party/guests arriving late during...

For the price, the room was very small for a family of 4, and no additional vanity room in sink area for toiletries of more than one person. The room smelled stale, was not walking distance to the downtown area (which is charming), and breakfast was not very exciting. For the price, I was underwhelmed.

Appears relatively new. Clean and comfortable for the price. Very quite! Breakfast typical fare. Staff was very friendly and helpful with directions and suggestions. No elevator so request a first floor if mobility issues. Would stay again.
