Stayed at the Maldron Wexford with a few of my work friends last night and it was just fabulous. The room was huge and we had a balcony. It was clean and modern. I cannot say enough good things about the staff as they were just incredible, so friendly and helpful. The food was great, I didn’t feel rushed like I have done n many places because of Covid. The whole experience was really great and I will defo recommend to friends. Thank you guys so so much x Niamh

Stayed here with my husband and mother and father in law. Rooms were clean and basic . Booked for dinner down stairs . Service was terrible long waiting times before we received menus and again for drinks etc throughout the meal . Food was extremely poor for all 4 of us with two of us actually unable to eat our main course . Staff were under pressure (not enough staff) and not very helpful , with the exception of one older waitress who was very polite and helpful at the end of the night. Would not recommend if planning a nice weekend or night away . Rooms are clean and if only using for a stop over and eating somewhere else would suffice .

Our first trip away as a couple after having a baby it was a disaster. We landed in hotel paid extra 30euro because it was a saturday night which was fine but that was the very bottom in small print on page we booked through groupon. Room was ok pillows flat as pancakes and sheets like cardboard. We booked for food that night it was a package deal and thank god it was because i wouldnt pay for what we got my husbands pint of guiness was watered down or something he wasnt sure we both got chicken wings for starter they were definately out of the freezer and sauce came in a plastic tube we paid extra for steak for both of us in mains and it was a total disaster after returning to room i vomited.breakfast the next morning was nice we both had full irish. Staff are nice but the chef is a total disaster for dinner worst dinner i have ever had and the rooms could really do with a make over. Really regret wasting a night off in this hotel.

My friend and I are only back from an one night stay . This may not be a 5 star hotel but in our opinion , The staff deserve a 5 star rating. From the moment we arrived at check in to the moment we checked out. The staff were amazing. We had dinner and breakfast there. Maybe not the biggest variety for dinner but the food was excellent. Nothing to much trouble for any member of the staff . Breakfast was delicious, great selection. Because of Covid restrictions, there was no buffet. Staff had to attend each table, coming and going several times and did it with a smile. We were in room 444. Two double beds and a balcony. Nice clean room.We will definitely be returning to this hotel.
