I spent 2 nights here with my husband and another couple while wine tasting in the Traverse City area. The home is beautiful with lots of history. Breakfast was wonderful. We stayed in the 2 rooms attached to the main house. It is perfect when travelling with another couple. The rooms are very quiet. We didn't hear anything from the... More

This was our first time at a B&B and we couldn't have picked a better place. The inn keepers were friendly and kind. I loved that she did a history lesson on the house Sunday morning too. And the food, oh my the food was fantastic!! I even got a special muffin due to a food allergy. The room was... More

My wife and I went here for our anniversary and had a amazing time and loved learning about the history of the Inn and the owners were very nice. Our room was great. The reason(s) I won't give it a 5/5 is that the bed was harder than the floor (please get newer plusher mattresses) and also if your going... More

The hosts could not have been any kinder. The B&B was incredibly clean and the rooms were very quiet. We could not hear our neighbors at all. Our room, the Victoriana, was awkward. It had a small hallway and stairwell down into I believe the kitchen that we had to walk through to get to our private bathroom. The bath... More

Immaculate! This well furnished Victorian has all the flavor and feel of the 1890s. The warmth and genuineness of the room, and first floor public rooms were matched by the warmth of the hosts. Breakfast was unique and flavorful. A downside, if any, is that there is not much in the town. We were heading around Lake Michigan, and it... More

We had a wonderful stay at the Grand Victorian. A beautifully restored home with beautiful furnishings...especially the beds....Walking distance to the town of Bellaire.. Hosts were extremely friendly and gave us a good bit of history on the house and it's former inhabitants... Breakfast was delicious!

I needed a stress-relieving long weekend, and The Grand Victorian was just what the doctor ordered. I was made to feel like a princess. The owners were so kind and thoughtful. With a fireplace and a Jacuzzi in the room, it was a nice winter get-away. Fancy china and crystal are used for breakfast. Plus it's only a few miles... More

Thank you for providing an amazing experience. Your home is an architectural Victorian gem, with some surprises because our "Richardi" room in the carriage house had every modern amenity. We started every morning with a delicious full breakfast in your gorgeous dining room and ended each day of play with a lovely romantic whirlpool bath with the fireplace...priceless. My husband... My friend and I decided we would like to stay at a Victorian B&B and every place I looked at was nice on the outside but the character of the victorian days did not flow inside. I found this beautiful home online. We stayed one night in the Queen Ann Room. It was absolutely the most beautiful experience we have... More

We spent several days at the B&B when attending our sons wedding. The building was built in the late 1800'summer by a lumber mill owner as a home for him and his future wife, unfortunately the marriage never occurred and the builder only lived there for a short time. The home has been fully restored to its original Victorian glory.... More
