The owners Kjell and Ann create a very comfortable situation for their guests. We had a very small room due to making reservations on fairly short notice, but the room size didn't really matter. It contained all that was needed. We will definitely recommend it to others. And stay again when we return to that wonderful little town.

We arrived on a rainy night and were glad to land. I agree with ErivaVanB's review -- an old fashioned kind of motel -- drive the car up to the room. Very neat and clean -- beautiful view out the back window. Two complimentary bottles of water were a nice touch. I only give 5 stars if I can't hear...

Loved this cozy motel.. just like where we'd stay on car trips with my parents in the 60's... completely up to date.. charming, lovely gardens and pool.. Friendly and helpful owners. Great location. Room was immaculate, with a refrigerator, coffee maker and treats... chocolate kisses on the bedside table.

The owners were helpful and friendly and went out of their way to help us find a restaurant for dinner. Great value for the money and I would stay here again if I'm in the area. The rooms was quiet and clean and the amenities were an added bonus. The grounds were lovely and I wish we could have enjoyed...

Lovely clean room - nice touches like mouth wash, body lotion, bottles of water provided, little chocolates, little sweet cakes and coffee etc. Owners very helpful with information. Room was spotless. Breakfast was different - blueberry bread and mini chocolate muffins with juice and coffee and apples. Apples were fresh from a nearby orchard and delicious. We would thorougly recommend...

I have stayed here a number of times and on each viisit found a clean, comfortable room near restaurants, the college and Spring Street. The rooms are quiet, reasonably spacious and back up to a nice lawn and garden area surrounding the pool. This is a great place to sit, relax and have a glass of wine. Terrific mid-50's motel,...

My wife and I found this motel very comfortable. The proprietors were the best! The rooms were large and immaculate with a comfortable layout. Having very beautifully landscaped property that sits at the base of the Mt. Greylock trails, it's a nice place to just sit outdoors enjoying your morning coffee, the quietness, and the views. While we were familiar...

We stayed 2 nights and found the Maple Terrace to be what we expected for the money. Clean, roomy and very convenient to Williams College and the Clark Museum. Ability to walk into eateries on Water and Spring street.

Rooms are away from the street, shielding them from the noise. The motel grounds are well maintained; pool is well kept as well. Room size is more than adequate; a level of non-darkening curtains in addition to the existing ones would give a chance for some privacy while not making the room dark... As noted by others here, breakfast is...
