We booked a getaway weekend here to attend the Brimfield Antiques Show. Location-wise it was great, an easy 10 minutes down the road and being located on Rt 20, very easy to find. It was also the only place in the area that accepted the BedandBreakfast.com gift certificate we had. The inn however was not as advertised on it's website....

The website for this inn states newly renovated historic building. Not sure how many years ago that renovation occurred. The inn is run by one man who leaves the office at 6:00 PM every day and returns at 10:00 AM the following morning. There were no signs of a staff that cleans the rooms, makes the beds, replaces used up...

My girlfriend and I went away for the weekend on the advice of my folks, who highly recommended the Sturbridge Country Inn. They said it was a quaint little hotel, and they had Jacuzzis in the room. My girlfriend and I were delighted by the peaceful nature of the hotel, which is on the main street of the town. We...

Okay, first I struggled with which rating to give between a 1-3. Then I looked and said, these wasn't even an average place to stay really it's closer to terrible. THE ONLY REDEEMING QUALITY about the stay was the really sweet jacuzzi tub in our room. Everything else was 100% horrible, and a rip off for $139 that was $160...

Stayed here on an over nighter the first weekend of March. It is an old eccentric place that the owners try to keep up with. Was supposed to stay in Room 5, but was advised the Jacuzzi didn't work. That was the primary purpose of our stay, so the owner put us in Room 7. Other than having to come...

Made reservations in June for December. Confirmed reservations again in September for December. Easy time I was specific about needing wheelchair accessible room. Each time I was told no problem. Three days before arrival they called and advised about sidewalk construction. Again they said I would have no wheelchair problems but may have to push around the construction area. Upon...

My husband and I stayed here the end of Oct for our anniversary. I booked it for the fireplace and jacuzzi and wasn't disappointed. Yes, the building could use some updates, paint, etc. But the room was spacious, fireplace worked and jacuzzi was very welcome relief after a day spent walking around Old Sturbridge Village. I would rather the room...

It had everything we needed, but the place is very old, and not renovated....the stairs had cobwebs on them, and looked about a million years old...hallways smelled musty, we had our doubts about it. When we arrived at 1:30, hoping to get in our room early, the place was locked up and there were no cars in the parking lot!...
