Staying here was a charming visit back in time. The main dining room is beautiful, there are lovely little nooks to play cards and have a drink, the fireplace blazes, the rooms are lovely...just be prepared for not a straight angle in the entire inn. Our room looked like it was sliding downhill, but we are used to that as...

Thank you for your lovely review. I am so glad that you found the Main Dining Room delightful during your family dinner with us and that you were able to enjoy a drink by the fireplace in our lobby. This is a great time of year to visit Stockbridge as we are not quite in our high season, but there...

The Inn is quaint and quirky (in a good way). Cute room and so many great pictures and antiques. Something to look at on every turn. Rooms are small, but adequate. Enjoyed the heated pool and hot tub. Guests are definitely the 50's and up crowd for sure! My husband and I are in our early 50's and we felt very...

Stayed here for two nights in a queen suite facing the Main Street. This is a very unique property and I'm glad to see they're taking good care of this historic Inn! It's like walking into a time machine. The room was nicely decorated and art works and antique furnitures, spacious and homey. The bed comfortable and clean. It's an...

I have traveled to the Red Lion Inn for business and pleasure over the last 15 years. Amazingly, my stays never get old, and the charm is timeless. The staff remain top notch, the service stellar, and the rooms comfortable. Truly a classic among American inns!

My wife and I had another great stay at the Red Lion Inn. We came up to spend a night for our anniversary and was pleasantly surprised when they upgraded us up to a King Suite from a King deluxe room. When we got into the room we were surprised again when we found a bottle of wine and two...

Stayed here one late night after driving in a sleet storm. 9 pm and hungry...and there was a live rock band in the Lion's Den tavern downstairs! Small crowd of young people, great vibe and tap IPA. And very tasty hot panini for the hungry. A wonderful little surprise experience. Our room was large (hurray!), comfortable king bed. But shower...

This inn is the real deal. It's origins can be traced to the the late 1700's. It's charm is sustained by care in decor and furnishings. Service is consistently attentive, warm and caring. During the winter, reserving a room with a gas fireplace is especially inviting. Dinner meets a high standard of quality for food, preparation, presentation and quality of...

We had so much fun here. We were in a suite room that was huge. I think it was called the porch suite so it was two big rooms and a lovely porch. It had a full kitchen which we did not use, but it was really clean and comfortable. I read the reviews about the place being a bit...

We stayed here in the winter for a long weekend. What a rambling, old, place. The bed was really squeaky... as in everytime you moved in bed, it woke me up. The rooms were clean. The downstairs bar/restaurant was a lot of fun with music and great service. We did not eat dinner here. Such a quintessential place with New...

Thank you for taking the time to share your thoughts with us! The Red Lion Inn is a grand old place that has lots of majestic charm and character. There is always another spot to discover and enjoy while roaming our rambling hallways, another piece of furniture or art to study, or another room to stay in overnight since no...

Originally built around 1773-but as most wood structure it was burned down and rebuilt in the 1800's and added onto over time. I swear the bar room floor on the main floor is the original wood plank floor from the original structure-wide and foot worn down. As with any structure of this vintage the floors are so uneven you could...
