We stayed two nights in the Old Garden Room on the first floor, which was amazingly quiet despite being near the front door. The accommodations were casual and comfortable, and the innkeepers very accommodating and hospitable. Breakfast was ample and delicious, and was served outdoors (or in) overlooking the bay and koi fish pond. Just a few miles from town and the iconic Good Harbor Beach, the inn is conveniently situated on a relatively quiet road. Everything was great, except the TV was tiny but we weren't in our rooms long. We definitely would recommend The Seafarer Inn to others and we hope to go back again next year!

My daughter and I stayed here for 2 nights and it was by far the most comfortable accommodations of our week-long trip. The Seafarer is very well maintained. The beds were perfect, firm but welcoming. The room and bathroom (claw foot tub) were charming and had a lovely view. The breakfasts were excellent, offering a variety of choices including homemade hot and cold options. The view from the breakfast room overlooks a koi pond out the window and a breathtaking view of the Atlantic breaking on the shore across the road with a lighthouse in the distance. Cannot recommend this more and we travel a great deal.

My wife and I stayed here for three weeknights in mid-May, and everything was delightful. Chris and Beth provided welcomed us personally and provided information and recommendations on dining. Our room was spotless and comfortable. Everything worked perfectly, and the wi-fi was good, despite it's being a difficult location for connectivity. We roamed the general area of Cape Ann, but frequently ended up dining in Gloucester, which has many excellent options. Breakfast at the inn was excellent, in spite of the fact that the pandemic prevented them from setting out the buffet spread that so many reviewers have raved about. One of our favorite activities was sitting out on the porch, watching the water. Outdoors by the koi pond was nice too, but the wind was a bit chilly most days. Overall, the three days passed all too quickly. We hope to come back another time.

We spent 6 nights at The Seafarer Inn, celebrating our 52nd anniversary, and touring Cape Ann. We also took a commuter train to Boston ( easy) as well as venturing to Salem and Marblehead. The Inn is comfortable and inviting, with a large wrap around porch (perfect for viewing the harbor while eating the delicious breakfasts that hosts Beth and Chris prepare). The location is convenient to the shops and restaurants in Rockport. The week went by way too fast!

My husband and I stayed 3 nights and we could have not been more pleased. The location is fantastic and scenic and relaxing. The inn is pristine and the inn keepers very friendly. Breakfasts are thoughtfully prepared and the buffet style makes it easy to please any appetite.
Village is a mile walk away and has numerous tasty restaurants. Great spot. Highly recommend 😀

We enjoyed four nights with Beth and Chris at the Seafarer Inn. Excellent breakfasts, incredible view, comfortable room. It is the best place we have stayed in Rockport and will certainly stay there when we return. We should add that the outdoor patio and chair are very comfortable with an ocean view.

The Seafarer is an immaculate, comfortable, and welcoming inn. The innkeeper is friendly and helpful. The room we had was large with a small kitchenette. The bed was a very comfortable foam mattress. The public rooms are very pleasant and inviting. The breakfast is tasty, plentiful, and varied. I'd strongly recommend the Seafarer Inn.

We saw one teenager staying with his parents while we were there but no other children. I agree with the previous posts in that you should contact the owners directly. It was indeed a gorgeous place and location. Ditch the children and spend a romantic weekend there...

All of our rooms have private bathrooms. Only one, the Loblolly Cove Room, has a non-attached bathroom. It is private, never shared, but it is down the hall from the bedroom. All the other rooms have ensuite bathrooms. We hope to see you in October!

Hello, We are 50 minutes from Logan Airport depending on traffic. We are 1 mile to all the shops and restaurants in Rockport. most of the walk is along the ocean. We have bistro tables inside the breakfast room that looks out over the ocean and we have individual tables outside also. There is One table inside that can seat a group or family of 8. I hope this helps. Chris
